Great concept, but overall the service and comfort didn’t match the price.

The location and the view. The history of the property.

The reception wasn’t very inviting- both the room and staff. The layout of room 540 wasn’t good- no seating for two people, couldn’t see the TV screen from the bed. Location of room 540 wasn’t good, at the back staircase with the staff lift outside with staff talking and rolling noisy trolleys at 6.35 in the morning. Also speaker outside the door playing loud music. One morning two builders walked in to our room.

Very enjoyable.

I stayed two nights as part of my research project, "Air War and Art." Very interested in the repurposing of the air raid bunker into a hotel, and other venues. My room was spacious and very comfortable. Excellent bed and shower, very quiete (hey, it's a bunker!). I was happy they provided coffee and tea pods and the room had a refrigerator. There is big Edeka market in the nearby Markthalle. The building basically functions as a vertical park--like New York's High Line, with lovely plantings and places to pause and enjoy the fresh air and view. Staying in the hotel it was very interesting to be able to experience it Saturday night, after a game at the next door stadium, when it was full of people, and Sunday morning, when I was practically the only person walking the grounds.

Took me night to realize there was a remote to turn the colored night/atmosphere light on and off in my room. The tv guide to the hotel did not seem to say this. Could have been a sign.

Beautiful hotel with great view over Hamburg

Magical hotel on top of a large bunker from the second World War. Guests need to take an elevator to get to the lobby, but on the way there, you get an incredible view over St Pauli, and Hamburg as a whole. Rooms are very elegant, with a very good shower. We stayed in the hotel during the Hamburger DOM, which is literally next to the hotel!

Only a limited number of parking spaces for the hotel members; we were lucky to find a parking place around the bunker, but I can imagine that this can sometimes be challenging.

Superb place

Unique building in a good spot surrounded by a great food market and small shops and bars. Staff were great, room was great, view was great. Parking was right next to the building and was very cheap for 2 days. 10minute walk down to the river/harbour. Looked forward to staying there and it didn't disappoint. Will definitely be back in the future.

Ideal location close to the station. Unique building that was an attraction in itself.

Poor facilities in the room, cleaners said they did not provide anything. We would have liked to add breakfast on to our stay but found the cost to be ridiculously expensive and couldn’t justify it.

The location and history was certainly the main reason for booking and we couldn't have wished for better. Spacious room, a nice view and easy to access all local transport links.

Das Hotel war sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Matratzen und das Kopfkissen waren super bequem. Man hat wirklich eine sensationelle Aussicht vom Hotel aus. Ein super cooles Stadthotel!

Der Preis fürs Frühstück war uns mit 29 € zu hoch. In der Umgebung gibt es aber viele Möglichkeiten zu frühstücken.

Ist eine schöne Erinnerung

Das Zimmer war super sauber, der Ausblick war auch sehr cool und die Möglichkeit sich jederzeit Wasser zu holen hat mir auch gut gefallen. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Es gab zu diesen Zeitpunkt nur 1 Fahrstuhl. Teilweise hat es echt lange gedauert bis er kam und hat auch Fragwürdige Geräusche gemacht. Weil das aber nur der einzige Weg ist zum Hotel zu gelangen, fand ich das ziemlich ungünstig.

Ein außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt mit mega Schlafkomfort und einer tollen Lage

Ein außergewöhnliches Hotel mit perfekter Lage, nur ca. 5 Minuten von der Reeperbahn entfernt. Das Highlight ist eindeutig der fantastische Ausblick über die ganze Stadt, den man dank der Höhe des Gebäudes genießen kann. Die Zimmer sind industriell eingerichtet, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders gefallen haben mir die Rituals-Duschprodukte und das super bequeme Bett und das Kissen, ich habe richtig gut geschlafen. Ein tolles, besonderes Hotel, vor allem wegen des beeindruckenden Ausblicks!

Am Abend waren wir in der Bar und haben uns einen Gin für 15 € gegönnt. Der Preis wäre okay, wenn der Drink geschmeckt hätte – leider hat er aber eher wie Mangoschorle geschmeckt. Das war enttäuschend.

Interessante Lage. Moderne Einrichtung. Tolle Aussicht. Coole Bars und Restaurants.

So gut wie keine Beschreibungen und Hinweise wo was ist. Man muss alles selber suchen. Zugang per Aufzug sehr schlecht beschrieben. Dann oben steht man auch planlos da. Danach per Aufzug auf die Zimmer sagt einem niemand daß man da nur mit Karte hochkommt. Keine Beschreibung auf dem Zimmer nur eine nutzlose Alexa. Keinerlei Hinweise was man sonst noch machen kann. Keine Hilfe bei öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. In anderen Hotels gibt es zB. ein kostenloses Metroticket. Im Zimmer fehlt ein Schrank. Keine Ablagemöglichkeiten. Zimmer konnte erst etwas nach 15Uhr bezogen werden.

Ausschilderung und Weg zum Hotel könnte verbessert werden. Personal an der Rezeption ist freundlich aber sollten im Umgang mit älteren Gästen geschult werden.Es fehlte uns Herzlichkeit Im Zimmer fehlt ein Schrank für Kleidung und Verstauung von Koffern/Rucksäcken.Im WC fehlen Handtuchhaken und Waschecke direkt im Zimmer fanden wir befremdlich.Die Tür zum WC ist sehr schwer zu öffnen.

Lækkert hotel

Fin beliggenhed i virkelig fed bygning. Dejlige værelser, sødt personale, skøn morgenmad og rigtig god bar om aftenen. Vi spiste ude til aften, og prøvede derfor ikke restauranten. Hvis man vil det, er det en god ide at booke i forvejen. Vi oplevede ikke de dårlige ting som der står i andre anmeldelser og ville helt sikkert bo der igen.

Vi boede på hotellet i forbindelse med en koncert på stedet om lørdagen. Vi kunne tydligt høre lydprøverne, så jeg tænker dem der har boet på hotellet uden at skulle til koncert, også har haft "glæde" af koncerten - måske godt at informere om.

Beste Lage in Hamburg, Preis Leistung stimmt nicht, Ausblick trotz der Lage sehr bescheiden.

Lage top, sehr zentral, außergewöhnliche Location

Suite mit Stadtblick gebucht, Außblick allerdings wegen der dichten Bepflanzung kaum vorhanden, dadurch ist auch das Zimmer sehr dunkel. Kein Kleiderschrank im Zimmer und nur drei Bügel vorhanden. Fernseher vom Bett kaum einsehbar, da im 90 Grad Winkel angebracht. Sehr laute Klimaanlage. Teppichböden auf den Gängen wirken bereits abgewohnt. Frühstücksbuffet am Sonntag um 9 Uhr schon sehr geplündert. Keine Brötchen mehr vorhanden, auch nicht auf Nachfrage. Kein Fisch, außer der Standardlachs, für eine Hafenstadt wie Hamburg ungewöhnlich und für 30 EUR pro Person wäre vielleicht auch noch ein Glas Prosecco o.ä. möglich gewesen.

NIE WIEDER - leider

Das Zimmer ist extrem hellhörig. Lichtschalter und Ähnliches sind völlig unübersichtlich. Eine Lampe musste auseinandergenommen werden, um sie auszuschalten, und eine weitere wurde mit Decke abgedeckt. Alles ist sehr unübersichtlich und schlecht ausgeschildert. Telefonisch war niemand erreichbar – nur immer wieder eine KI. Das Personal vor Ort war allerdings wirklich freundlich.

Die Lage ist gut und die Dachbegrünung toll. Alles andere ist jedoch absoluter Schrott.

Hotellet tager 100 euro ved indcheck, der tilbageføres til ens betalingskort ved afrejse (hvis man ikke har købt noget) dog minus byskat på ca. 10 euro. Dette fremgår ikke tydeligt nok inden man reserverer. Og det bliver heller ikke oplyst at der skal betales byskat ved check ind - først ved check ud. Det fremgår heller ikke tydeligt nok inden man reserverer, at man skal tillade de opbevarer personoplysninger i 3 år ellers kan man ikke checke ind. De beder derfor gæster om at underskrive et dokument, men det er ikke oversat til engelsk. Så vidt jeg kunne forstå skal man også acceptere at de sender reklame/markedsføring oven i, for de vil have en mailadresse. Det giver en rigtig dårlig oplevelse som gæst, at man først skal have kortet op af lommen og bagefter skal underskrive juridiske dokumenter man ikke aner hvad indeholder for at få nøglen til sit værelse. Hvem har overskud til det efter en lang rejse? Virkelig dårlig oplevelse og hertil uvenligt personale.

Außergewöhnliches Hotel mit Geschichte

Natürlich die außergewöhnliche Architektur, die Geschichte hinter dem Gebäude, die Umsetzung, das viele Grün, die zentrale Lage. Sehr schön war der Miniaustritt am Zimmer mit Blick über die Stadt und dass, man das Fenster/ Tür eben öffnen konnte. Hervorheben möchte ich dass mega Frühstücksbuffet, was wirklich keinen Wunsch offen liess und die beiden sehr sympathischen und freundlichen Mitarbeiterinnen, die dort wirklich alles rockten. Das Team an der Rezeption war freundlich, hilfsbereit unaufdringlich und zuvorkommend auf sehr angenehme Weise. Wir werden den Bunker in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen.

Ich habe Aufkleber vom Hotel vermisst, hätte ihn gerne auf meinen Koffer geklebt 😉 Vllt. Ein Sichtschutz vor dem Waschbecken für die Privatsphäre beim Zähneputzen, aber sonst war es wirklich ein tolles Erlebnis dort Gast zu sein.
