REVERB by Hard Rock Hamburg

The renovated flak tower is a destination in Hamburg... and the green roof, hotel refurbishment is spectacular and a must see. The hotel is reasonably priced for such a unique experience and the rooms are very very nice. However, navigating the space can be quite an ordeal. Outdoor wrap around stairs can lead to surprising interactions with visitors if you are on your balcony, trying to get in or out of the hotel can be a tricky task as some staircases lead down but you cannot exit them. I checked in somewhat late and was hungry and forgot my phone charger... there is no room service or traveller items or shop. I was told that I could order take out but would have to go down to the street and pick it up and that they did not have a phone charger. Granted minor inconveniences at best... but this is not a budget hotel compared to others in the area so a bit of service would be expected. I was there during a heat wave so the blackout window coverings and AC were much appreciated. The rooms are nice, the building is spectacular but after one day, navigating the building became a bit of a hassle.

Centrally situated, close to subway, fantastic and eclectic neighborhood. Unparalleled building, one-of-kind. Loved it and will stay there again. Highly recommend.

Doors make way too much noise, you can hear every other people from your floor leaving their rooms. And what the hell did you do with those magnetic doors for the toilets? Also the whole floor was rumbling a few times. Other than that, the location is nice and the room style is what I was expecting for this place.

This hotel is literally on top of the WW2 bunker which means getting in or out involves a decent time investment which is somewhat annoying, I thought it was merely near the bunker like the NH across the street. Rooms are nice and hotel is new but the staff are with some exceptions quite rude. Nothing less Hard Rock than an 11am checkout time!
