Ein toller und außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt! Super liebes, freundliches und sehr hilfsbereites Personal, mit einem gewissen, Hamburger Charme 😉
Schlafkomfort war besser als erwartet, in solchen Kojenbetten.
Man kann an Board ebenfalls sehr gut essen und lecker Bier trinken, sofern man die Hausmarke wählt.
Die Fähre zu den Musicals ist von dort fußläufig zu erreichen.
Wer also eine außergewöhnliche Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Hamburg sucht, ist auf dem Feuerschiff bestens aufgehoben.
Ich möchte diesen Punkt nicht als Kritik verstanden wissen, sondern eigentlich eher als Pluspunkt für die Crew, die so ehrlich sind...
Meine Frage beim bestellen unseres Abendessen war, ob der Kabeljau frisch oder als TK Ware geliefert wird. Der Kellner hatte sich kurz in der Küche informiert und kam mit der Antwort, daß es sich um Tiefkühl Ware handelt, zurück.
Was nicht schlimm ist, aber wenn ich Fisch esse, dann bevorzuge ich persönlich fangfrischen.
Habe aber auf der Speisekarte eine tolle alternative gefunden.

Ich habe zum dritten Mal auf dem Schiff übernachtet und habe mich schon lange darauf gefreut. Es ist einfach toll, aus dem Bullauge aufs Wasser zu schauen, die Elphi zu sehen und alles ganz nah. Ein richtiges kleines Abenteuer in authentischer Umgebung - die Zimmer und Kojen sind liebevoll restauriert und so, wie sie waren, als das Feuerschiff noch als Leuchtturmschiff in Betrieb war. Ich mag dieses Schiff sehr - ein schwimmender Fels in der Hamburger Brandung. Und ein spannender Ort, wenn man etwas über Schifffahrt erfahren möchte.
Gar nichts - es war perfekt.

Close to Miniatur Wunderland, easily accessible and close to Hamburg U-bahn. Shower was warm and the heating worked very well (it was cold and raining outside but very cosy inside). Breakfast was very tasty and even offered as a buffet on Sunday. Free wifi aboard as well.
Well, it’s a ship, so beds are pretty short (max 1m80) and the rooms are tiny. As it’s a boat, the noise isolation is not what a usual hotel offers so earplugs are a must if you want to sleep properly. They offer these btw... there was also a little humidity smell in the room, but quickly solved by opening the door for a few moments.
