Very well located

I like where it is. You have the S-bahn and bus stations just there. You can move around the city easily, you have plenty of shops and restaurants if you need anything. It is very convenient.

Overall our stay was good, the facilities were very clean and the breakfast was good.

Breakfast and location were both great.

The beds were exceptionally clean BUT very uncomfortable, neither myself and my husband in room 313 and our friends in room 317 found the bed comfortable, non of us slept well on both nights. The rooms were quite hot and the air conditioning could not be lowered more than 18 deg. If we opened the window for air noise from the station was a problem. Also we were disappointed to find there was no facility to make a hot drink in our rooms (we had a late arrival and would have liked a hot drink) we were not offered any refreshments on arrival either. The bath towels were also showing signs of wear but were clean.

A disaster

The staff only

Everything they say that comes with the hotel is all made up here on booking cz the hotel doesn’t have any other facilities whatsoever and don’t get me started on the bed 🥲 they were as hard as a wooden floor my back is killing me till now . The mini bar (fridge) was broken with nothing inside too and the AC wasn’t working as well and then we complained to the receptionist about it and they moved us to a different room which is why I liked the staff cz they were so nice about it and the new room they gave us was not carpeted the phone didn’t work too and the bed was still the same problem and the wifi there is weak and sometimes just stop working all together for minutes.

Brilliant location. Friendly staff. Handy for close by shops, restaurants and bars.

Great location. Out the door and onto the train platforms. Windows must be triple, triple glazed because we heard no noise from outside at all. Great shower pressure. Beds a bit creaky, but not a problem. Room was adequate for our needs.

Hotel management was chaos

Good location for getting out and next door to train station

The whole process for checking in took us an age as all the rooms we booked were wrong, all of us had to check in and then come back down as twin rooms had a double bed and vice versa, people went into rooms and there was other customers already checked and in the room.

This was my third stay which speaks for itself!

The breakfast was very good. With respect to area safety the hotel forms part of the railway station and is an area I know well. It behoves the traveller to exercise normal precaution in the area which is well policed, well lit and adjacent to the railway platforms. Despite its location the rooms are well insulated from outside noise.

The hotel is popular so advance reservations are a must.

Great location and staff. Cleaning service not the best. Bad experience with the shower.

The location was very helpful and staff was very kind.

No one took back the iron and iron table after 2 days, even when they said they would do that when cleaning the room during the day. The shower was okay, but when even was set to a temperature, it was changing to really hot and really cold. It made showering very very unpleasant.

Cozy room in great location (train station a few steps away). Well connected, so much around to see!

It was a cozy room that met all of our expectations. It's literally inside the TRAIN STATION which is why we chose it, it connected us everywhere! The staff were helpful tho we think they double booked our room so when we got there we didnt have one :/ but they figured it out quickly and gave us a different one. It was a great stay. No breakfast at the hotel room since we decided to eat locally at the Fish Market!!!

Convenient and clean stay.

Almost everything was quite smooth and nice. Very convenient location. The staff was extremely helpful. They provided a very nice side bed for our toddler. The free commuting change with the free ticket is lovely.

Only the entrance doors were a bit problematic. Maybe there is a reason for that but with a stroller or wheelchair, you have to spend a serious effort to open and pass without hitting the door. They can be automatic or wheel-friendly. There should be more mangos available for breakfast :)

Great location for the train station, typical budget chain hotel, but no kettle.

Great location right outside Hamburg Altona train station, with lots of kiosks, shops and takeaway restaurants

No kettle or tea-making facilities. No room service of any sort (not even a hot drink). Train stations are always a slightly rough areas, but it is very convenient.

Disappointing

Location is good, it is near the tren station

I had wanted to go Intercity Dammtor but site had directed me to Altona, this was bad but i was lucky because it is near the tren station. I reserved the room 2 weeks earlier but it is too expensive and i could reserve more comfortable and luxury room with this charge.
