Lift did not function and I was in 3rd floor. I expected to have a mini fridge but there was not.

Perfect location within a few minutes from the Fabrik and from many touristic spots. The room was very clean.

The room and shower were impeccably clean but the mattress was far too soft, the German-style pillows were huge, the duvet felt small so I kept getting uncovered at night. My sinus kept getting blocked with windows closed and the room got too cold with the window left ajar. So I didn't get any good sleep at all for 2 nights. The bathroom in particular is in dear need of renovation. This could have just been my room, so it doesn't mean that everyone should expect my same experience. I still recommend the hotel.

A great location. About a block to Altona train station. Close to many restaurants, bars and a lively street scene. I was pleased my room was quiet and overlooked the garden.

The door card system to get into the hotel wasn't very responsive and similarly to access the room. Not much space for bathroom toiletries.

I liked the interior design and old-fashioned flair and very convenient location. The bed was a decent size and comfortable. It was quiet at night and I slept well. The shower was amazing too.

I did not like how small the sink was and the lack of sockets as I could not charge my phone near the bed. I also wish the WiFi access could have been easier.

Clean room, super friendly staff! The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Altona railway station, so it is very easy to reach from the airport or by train. I was surprised by how quiet the room was at night.

There was a problem with the credit card - the hotel couldn't verify it remotely, and we were arriving after reception had closed. They were very friendly and committed to problem-solving during this period. Very satisfied.

A single room in a cupboard

The hotel was clean and had a nice courtyard view from the hotel room, and from the breakfast area. The staff were courteous and nice to interact with. The hotel felt very safe overall. The hotel had nice amenities, restaurants and supermarkets within the vicinity.

The single room I stayed in was very tiny. To me, the room seemed to be a cupboard fitted with a bed and a modular bathroom. For the price I paid, I expected more space, but it could have been that the price reflects the current rising cost of living.

Fine, nothing flashy.

I liked how it was fairly local within the Altona area, clean and just what you would expect from a semi-cheap hotel. Nothing flashy, but quiet and I imagine it would be good for elderly couples and families.

Altona is quite far from the middle of Hamburg, so expect to use some time for travelling forth and back, if you want to visit the big city. The staff didn't talk a lot of english, but were friendly upon request of help and help was needed to use the lock on the door properly. The channels on the tv couldn't access the world cup, but all in all, not a lot of bad stuff to mention.
