Back in my Hamburg bolthole!

Have used the hotel several times before and like the fact that all of the rooms are the same - makes unpacking and packing so much easier as you know what needs to go where! Facilities are minimal but there's everything needed for a short stay. The location (at the west end of the Reeperbahn) is so good - you're close to all the madness but far enough away from it to get a good night's sleep! Don't see a lot of the staff but they are friendly and efficient.

The over sensitive smoke alarm in the room - you need to turn the air con on before taking a shower. Not a big chore but seems a weird thing to have to do in a modern hotel. I can never get the keypad on the front door of the hotel to let me in of an evening, either - the buzzer to reception always saves the day!

Clean comfortable hotel right in the heart of the Reeperbahn / St Pauli district.

Great location. Very close to the Reeperbahn tube station and to all the Beatle related sites that we wanted to see.

Good and comfy hotel

Friendly staff, easy check-in, well-equipped, clean, and comfortable rooms. I was able to keep my bicycle inside the hotel, which is a big bonus and a useful tip for anyone traveling by bike. Breakfast is served very early and offers plenty of options, so I can fully recommend it.

Breakfast buffet was good. The staff were friendly. There was 24/7 free coffee service at the reception. Possibility to check-in early and leave luggage after checkout.

The rooms hasn't been cleaned for 5 days of my stay, except change of towels once. Very small rooms. No kettle in the room. Surroundings in the area. Only pancakes is hot food for vegetarians (I do not eat egg).

Great value for money

The design of the hotel were superb. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The location was great and very close to party places. Although it is also close to brothels, I did not feel any insecurity. The transportation from the airport or train station was very easy (only 1 metro ride). The room was quiet enough although it is in a very active neighborhood.

There are no drawers or gardrobes in the room. All clothes stayed in the luggage. It may be hard for a longer stay.

Amazing

I really liked the self-check in service and that you can make your room key on the spot, and that the system will look for available rooms even if you arrive earlier then check in. I liked the fact that this is a smart hotel and that you can charge your phone wirelessly next to the bed and that you can control the floor temperature. The location was amazing right in the middle of reeperbahn.

I would hesitate to recommend this hotel because of the attitude of the reception

The cleanliness was wonderful and the hotel was definitely value for money. My only criticism was the reception staff who weren’t really friendly at all. They seemed very unservice-minded and as an outward face of the hotel totally unacceptable.

Great room, dubious location

The breakfast was good, although 13.90 seems a little steep for a buffet. Remember to book it the night before, otherwise if you turn up in the morning and pay for it then it's considerably more expensive. Room was excellent, cool, quiet, comfy with a great shower.

I knew the hotel was off the Reeperbahn when I booked, but I was still unpleasantly surprised by the sketchy people hanging around on the street outside, and the general seediness of the whole area. Not many good restaurants either. The S bahn was closed for repairs so its main selling point -easy access to the city - was not applicable.

Good for a night!

We came to this hotel just to spend the night during a very long trip to our next destination. We decided to go for it because one review said the garage was very large. Unfortunately the garage was full. However, they told us to go to another garage very close to the hotel and it was super good (15 euros a night), clean, safe and almost empty. The room was tidy and reasonably sized. We came quite late and were not too convinced about going out so the bar at the hotel was a very pleasant surprise! also, our room was quiet.

Unfortunately we felt that the surroundings were not extremely nice. Yes, very lively but I would not have felt comfortable walking outside during the night on my own. We, as a couple did not try just because we came quite late.

The self check-in took so long, there was only 1 person at the reception doing check in and out, even though 2 others worked there. If they would put a bigger sign with ,please prepare xy for self-check in‘ guests could use their waiting time more efficiently and wouldn‘t take so long in the end

10/10 would book again!

Feels like being on the set of a Jamiroquai music video or a toothpaste commercial BUT the room is very clean and the hotel is located in a convenient position. Our room looked on the main road and still couldn't hear any noise from the outside, very thick dark curtains make the room pitch black (yeah, I'm a problematic sleeper). Self check-in made the check-in phase super fast. Would book again :)

Easy check in- and out. Good breakfast, Nice rooms with what you need.

Only cleaning every 3rd day, and most important you are not given this information (when you check in at The screens; which they like you to do. And other information is whitten in The bathroom (which says to leave towels on the floor if you wish new ones). Then we came home and wanted a shower, and the towels were still wet on the floor. I went to the reception and asked about it, and was told cleaning is only every 3rd day, and you should come every morning and ask for if you need something. Would be nice to leave the right information in the rooms/ bathroom. Otherwise the receptionist was nice and gave me new towels to bring to our room.
