False advertisement of soundproof rooms and aggressive staff attitude

We booked this hotel because it was advertised on Booking.com as having soundproof rooms. That is completely false. The noise from the Reeperbahn and from live music inside the hotel itself made it impossible to sleep. The windows do not block the noise at all. We complaint to the staff was in charge at night, who was partying in the lobby while on duty and could not help in any way - as their mind was clearly somewhere else. When we complained again the morning, the Sales Manager refused to change our room or offer a refund, even though Booking.com support contacted the hotel on our behalf requesting a room change. The staff were dismissive and unhelpful throughout. The sales manager at the entrance was aggressive and kept refusing Booking.com calls, or just turn them off in order to avoid the problem. If you value rest, honesty, or professional service, avoid this place. It is dishonest to advertise rooms as “soundproof” when they clearly are not, together with having the worst attitude we’ve ever experienced.

Excellent stay in St Pauli

Excellent stay in the heart of St Pauli, lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff, received a super quiet room, which I was totally impressed with. Room was comfortable, excellent shower, and super fast WIFI. Will totally recommend this hotel for anyone planning a visit to this part of Hamburg and not only.

good for a short stay

The location of the hotel is awesome. Fortunately, the windows have a great insulation. Therefore, you don't here anything, but the room gets very warm.

The room is ok, enough for just resting. It is small, and the bathroom is not the best. However, it was super clean. Overall, you pay most for the location.

Not a nice experience in Hamburg

The location is not suitable for families or couples, as the area is surrounded by nightclubs and establishments that are not family-friendly. During my stay, there was a motorcycle event happening nearby, and the front of the hotel was crowded with bikers who were drinking excessively and behaving disrespectfully, especially toward women. The room was also disappointing. It faced a busy avenue with loud music playing throughout the night, making it extremely difficult to sleep. Additionally, the bed was very uncomfortable. At check-in, the parking arrangements were not explained clearly. As a result, I had to pay the full parking fee directly at the lot, without receiving the hotel’s advertised discount. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel for families or couples looking for a peaceful and respectful environment.

The hotel is located in the bar and theatre zone. If you like party, it is a good place to stay; otherwise, you must be aware that it's going to be a lot of noise at night. It is a practical place to stay in for a day or two.

This is a review for C. Hoffman, for whom I booked the stay. She was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and would recommend. She only stayed for one night.

For one or two nights is ok

Location is good. It is closer to Elbtunnel, Landungsbrucke. It is located in Reeperbahn and what I didn't like is that you can see a lot of homeless people and also drunk people. The area is a little bit dirty but anyway it is safe to walk there. It is ok just for two nights.

The room "Single room" is not what you see in the pictures. You receive another room without desk, smaller and the shower is with curtain not a glass door like in the pictures. They should update the pictures or simply give you what you are paying for. It was expensive for the room I received. You need to know that the pictures are not the real rooms. I wont go next time there.

Pleasant hotel direct on the Reeperbahn

Location of the hotel is great for exploring Hamburg, close to many transport links. Staff were friendly and the room in good condition.

The hotel is direct on the Reeperbahn, so it will be noisy. However our room was on the back which was generally fine.

Great choice if you don't care about location

The hotel itself was really nice and most importantly clean. There's no AC so in summer it is quite hot, but that's alright to me as ACs aren't common in central Europe.

The location is not quite good - Reeperbahn is a red light district and I've never seen so many junkies and homeless people around. Place looked scary to leave your car for a night. Not many nice walks could be done there.
