A freshly renovated affordable and clean budget hotel near the red light direct, dining, amusement quarter, subway and the FC St. Pauli football stadium. Can it be any better? Parking possible opposite to the hotel and right next to the subway for 6€ (24h) on the “Heiligengeistfeld” (to be entered via Glacischaussee).
Nothing to complain about.

Great location, 20 minute walk to central Hamburg , very near metro. Buffet breakfast was satisfactory . A good budget choice
Nothing really, it’s a budget choice so nothing special
9.0 / 10.0
Very close to train/tube station and only 20 minutes walking (flat) to the centre. Busy area but very safe with a lot of bars and restaurants. The hotel is just behind the famous ‘red light district’ which is just a big chaotic road but the rest of the quarter is nice and quiet.
My room was perfectly organised with everything you need, quiet and clean. Bed and pillow very comfortable
Nothing to report

The rooms are all very new and clean. If it was cheaper would have been a great choice, but for what we paid probably a bit too essential in my mind.
rooms are very very small. We were first in a twin room (two separate beds) and there is not even space to open a luggage on the floor.

Promising as described.
The location is definitely a positive.
The guy at the reception was a little rude - should be helpful if people ask a question which they clearly do not understand, instead of being sarcastic.

The location, shower and breakfast
Room too small, no space to walk, toilet floors dirty. No place to put the clothes. All kept in the suitcases. No space for a couple travelling together. Ok for for one person.

Really good location, on a walking distance of a vibrant area, the area felt safe at night

We did not have breakfast and we left early. The reception girl was very nice and very helpful. The room was was nice and comfy, and so was the bathroom. The garage next door was easy to get at and easy to go out. If you use the ticket given from the hotel in conjunction with the entering ticket you only pay €6 per night. Very nice hotel with no Hussle. We went to eat just round the corner at an Indian Restaurant. Very nice people.

Location unexpectedly convenient; room had a/c which was a definite plus in the heat; breakfast fine

Location was great, near transport links and bars etc, but itself on a relatively quiet and safe feeling street.
Room was adequate for 3 fellas using it to freshen up and sleep in for a few nights.
I wouldn't want to spend more time in there as it did get a little stuffy and hot but that was with the weather too - a little cramped and not much space for clothes to be hung up or stored if we'd been staying any longer

Very small room.

Location is excellent
The room was ridiculously small for three people. Literally only one person could stand at Anthony time.

nice reception staff, nice modern looking hotel
refurbishing works ongoing which I don't recall being made clear when I made the booking, but I may have missed it. building works started very early in the morning, between 7 and 8am, and are noisy, so if you had a late night like I did, its not ideal.
should make it clear when booking that there is an Ibis Hotel next door to this hotel, which is an Ibis Budget. Taxi driver dropped me off at the wrong spot because he didn't realise either.

Friendly staff, nice location, clean room.
A kettle will great.

Very good location helpful staff and good price, good for short stay
Our room was extremely small for 3 people, no place for bags or even hang the coats, the most annoying thing: no usb or standard electric socket to charge the mobile next the beds so if you e.g. sleep on “upper” bed you cannot plug and charge your device at all. Sink is directly in the room (no separated bathroom) and shower in the kind of “closet” - you have to almost walk naked in the room - no place to get dressed after/before shower…

Location great, compact rooms. Price convient
Hair dryers can be borrowed from reception, not available in the rooms

The staff at reception were always nice and helpful. One of them made a drawing on the map where I should go; I did and it was superb. I liked the location, which was parallel to Reeperbahn. One could walk to the harbour as well as to Jungfernstieg and see and experience many interesting buildings on the way. I preferred to have breakfast round the corner on Reeperbahn, or at the ‘Kietz Bäcker’ in Silbersackstraße, for which you have to cross Reeperbahn, turn right, walk a stretch, then turn left. Often there is a cue. If you like to have breakfast before going out, the Hotel breakfast is sufficient, although not great. If you are in to really good food then there is Fischereihafen Restaurant. A nice way to get there is by ferry, get off Dockland and just walk strait on. It is the big building on your left.
I was missing a comfortable chair in the room and a shelf in the bathroom for placing my cosmetics. Generally there was little facility to place the content of my suitcase.

I liked the location very much. I liked that this time the hotel could provide me with bathroom for disabled people. Breakfast was sufficient but not great.
I didn’t like that my room was opposite the lift, as I felt disturbed every time it was in use. I hated it that the shower in my bathroom for disabled people was flooding the whole bathroom. The next times I showered very, very careful, which was no fun.

The hotel is at a lovely location. Very close to the station. Wonderful transport connections. Room is great and bed was very comfortable. I am extremely happy with my stay.
Upon arrival the guy at reception was very rude. Made me pay, had a conversation over the phone and then asked me what I wanted... I was really disappointed. He didn't even remember I had just paid. He questioned the fact and even was surprised when I pointed out he was holding my receipt in his hand. Then very reluctantly gave me my room key. I felt like some kind of criminal. He was horrible with the service.

Very clean functional room, location good for the show I was attending at the Messe.
8.0 / 10.0
The room was very functional, despite its small size. We were pleasantly surprised. Note that we were frequently out during the day / evening, so essentially the room was just for sleeping / showering. Enough room for the two of us and our backpacks.

Location & price.
"Cosy" bathroom facilities.

Location is perfect, cheap
Uncomfortable, bath and shower are separated, sink is outside the bath. Place was dirty. Bed and pillow were uncomfortable.
