Generally good but room layout poor

The hotel is a cheap taxi ride from the fishmarket area, river cruises and Hop on-Hop off buses. The Reeperbahn was a block away, interesting but chancy depending on time of day. Only restaurants close to hotel were there. Wide variety of them. Breakfast was excellent.

When we booked he hotel advertised that they provided dinner service. That is no longer the case. We arrived late in the afternoon so no dinner on site was a big disappointment. Our room was strangely designed but comfortable enough. The design was described as "Scandi". but, having been in Stockholm several times I think the Swedes should sue for defamation. One opened the door to see, on the right, a black metal hanging rack with 2 sets 4 coat hangers. The rack was high enough that it was difficult to reach but that did allow space for suitcases underneath. Next to the rack there were stacked open wooden boxes about 12"x12"x12". They were substitute for drawers and quite inadequate. The beds were side to side singles and comfortable. Two bedside tables had space underneath. At the far end of the room there were two reasonable comfortable chairs but the TV was on a sloped wall and could only be seen from the beds, The view from the chairs was of the bathroom door. The bathroom was so tiny that when one sat on the toilet one's knees were under a corner of the tiny bathroom sink.

Location is very good also bed,linen clean and comfortable.

It is not nice if you see people who comes without reservation can stay there cheaper when you go to hotel. Also breakfast is expensive.

Good for city trip!

Centrally located near bars and clubs as well as harbor so perfect for tourist. Paid parking below hotel which has discount after validation at reception. Small rooms but clean and fair facilities for price paid.

Some more facilities in room like tea / coffee / fridge.

It is a great place to stay for the money, location and staff!

The manager is exceptionally friendly and accomodating. The staff is friendly and professional most likely due to his leadership. The lobby is welcoming and the location is on top of the S-bahn and bus lines.

Replace the shower curtains with doors and add hair conditioner in the bathrooms. Breakfast bacon would be nice and adding oat, almond or soy milk on the breakfast buffet as an option.

All an all it was good experience

The location of the hotel is fantastic, just 3 stations to Hamburg Central Station and 1 station away from the Harbor, also, the area is vivacious till late at night with lots of mini markets and food shops around.

1. One day was hearing a dog barking for a long time in one of the rooms near me. 2. I don't know if all the staff in the reception is so but my experience with the man I met in the reception was not good when I arrived to check in he looked angry, gave me a paper to sign and when I asked what is that for he acted like am an idiot and keep repeating to sign here without answering me, then he took it and gave me the card without explaining anything didn't tell me about the wifi password however it was written on the desk but I didn't saw it, I've expected it written in the room or the room access card and again when I asked him in the last day he told me it is obvious that it is here.

Location was great, we were just off Reeperbahn so we didn't get affected by the night life (noise, people etc.) but could easily check it out. Plus we were well-connected with public transportation. The breakfast buffet wasn't bad - not the highest quality ingredients but a good selection.

The room was small and awkwardly shaped, the bed wasn't comfortable at all, our pillows were so big we woke up with neck pain. We asked to change but they didn't have any different ones. The place generally wasn't well-cleaned, and the toilet brush even still had someone else's "usage" on it. It wasn't a cheap place to stay and yet the quality still felt a bit gross. Plus there were noisy guests running back and forth in the hallway all night with pretty much no sound proofing.

I made a little too merry on the first night, and the lovely receptionist checked that I was ok the next day, after the poor woman had to endure my nonsense on the evening previous. It is also on the quieter end of the Reeperbahn, which is nice.

Breakfast was fine, more or less. Airco ok. Room was clean, but small. That's it for the good points

This is a no-wifi hotel! It doesn't work and there's no sense of urgency to fix it. We stayed three nights but haven't been able to use the internet connection of the hotel. Small problems in the room don't get solved, was our impression (window couldn't close, and other things) No refrigerator or safe. Breakfast: no bread, no fruit, 1 coffee machine for 60 people. The guy at the desk was absolutely not fit for the job...: uninterested approach, poor explanation, substandard reception 4.5 EUR for a bottle of 0.5l unchilled water in the room... ? We didn't bother, but be aware that the red-light district is located 100m from the hotel... :-)
