The location and the view in the Riverside was amazing, specially with the snowfalls and the city lights at night with the panoramic view

To a bit high price on the dates that I stay further more I didn’t see any facilities more than the gym and sauna. Also there wasn’t any internal smoking areas which it make it harder during the winter nights.

Excellent.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was very comfortable. Staff supplied good quality umbrellas on the rainy days We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on saturday and it was delicious

The opening hours of the sauna are a bit complicated. Opens at 5 mon to fri. 2 on sat and 4 on sunday. Earlier opening would be better

Lovely stay

Superb breakfast, very comfortable beds, friendly staff – the hotel had clocked that it was my birthday and wished me a happy birthday, which was a lovely touch. Also in a great central location.

I broke my toe on one of the chairs in the bedroom – though this is hardly the chair's fault.

Very disappointed won’t stay again

The property was in a good location

Very disappointed. This was not a 6 star hotel. On checking the receptionist took a €50 deposit for each night of stay totalling €150 saying it was for the mini bar, on entering the room we found the fridge mini bar to be completely empty. There was only 1 bottle of water for the whole stay. No milk for our tea or coffee in a morning, Also the pillows and bed were very uncomfortable. We thought breakfast was very expensive at $35 euro each per morning so didn’t have that.

More a 3 or 4 stars hotel then a 5 star

The breakfast was fine

The room was not clean, stains all over the wall in the bathroom and on the sofa. One of the lamps was flickering, so we had to pull it out. The chromecast on the tv wasnt working. Told the staff in the reception about it, and they said someone would fix it and come clean our room within 5 mins, we went for a walk and when we came back 4 hours later, nothing had happened. Had to tell the staff twice before something happened but the room were still dirty with stains and old hairs in the bathroom. Not what I combind with a 5 star hotel service.

Lovely room, great restaurant

We had a little difficulty with the climate control in our room and we got quite hot overnight. However it was not bad enough (and we only stayed 2 nights) to ask the hotel staff for help.

Disappointing

I chose to stay here because I had stayed at the Steigenberger in Vienna which was excellent. Location is good. Rooms are spacious with good facilities.

1. On check in, the room I was allocated was already occupied ! The staff were apologetic and offered a free drink at the bar which never materialised. 2. Room was not cleaned during the entire four day stay. 3. On the one night I wanted to eat in the hotel, the staff at the restaurant were keener to talk amongst themselves before being greeted. When I was eventually served they said there was no space when it was obvious there were gaps. They were pretty unhelpful. I virtually never write reviews but the stay fell well below expectations, certainly below what is normally expected from this hotel group.

A comfortable hotel with all the amenities, conveniently located in the heart of Hamburg.

Everything was expected and no negative surprise. I enjoyed nice views from my room on the 7th floor.

I could only access my room at 3:00 PM, which was quite inconvenient after a long journey. When I asked for a place to freshen up, I was directed to the public bathroom.

The location is wonderful and it is perfectly clean but I wasn’t satisfied with staff.

Location was perfect and it was so clean.

My card couldn’t activate the elevator to take me to my room’s floor and any time I wanted to go up I should ask one of the receptionist to activate it by their card.

From building architecture, views outside the window, place in the city, food and staff attention to details during breakfast - to parking, everything was at 10 points. What's missing? Perhaps only the socket in the garage to charge the electric car :)

We stayed in the room 308 and the AC does not work properly... the room was too hot. The metro station is underground of the building, when the trains arrives you feel in the building. We stayed 2 nights, in the 2nd night they haven't delivered bottles of water and coffee (just when we arrived in the 1st day).
