Coming back next year!

Breakfast selection was very good, varied choice. Location was excellent as I was there for a convention at Hamburg Congress Center, only a 10 minute walk via Planten un Blomen, as well as a stairway to the Underground train line that can help you get right into the heart of the city. Staff were friendly, and rooms were great; very spacious and clean.

I have no complaints.

A stylish, comfortable hotel in a perfect location.

Loved my stay at Scandic Emporio! I was in room 101—stylish, super clean, with tons of windows (but blackout curtains made it perfect for sleeping). The bed was really comfy with great pillows and a cozy comforter. Nice extras too, like free drinks in the mini fridge and a coffee machine with everything you need for a great coffee or hot chocolate. Breakfast was amazing—huge variety: cereals, fruit, cold cuts, eggs, waffles, you name it. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The location is unbeatable—right in the city center and close to the subway. Would absolutely stay here again!

Only minor downside: Wi-Fi was a bit weak in my room, probably because it was in a corner. There’s no full restaurant in the hotel, but they do have a convenient little shop in the lobby with sandwiches, snacks, drinks, and essentials you might’ve forgotten.

Excellent stay, will choose next time in Hamburg

Everything is excellent, rich breakfast, clean room, got everything I need. Iron, kettle, hairdryer, everything! Good location, near the CCH, close to a park, walk distance to the lake and city centre.

The air conditioner and fan in the toilet is a little bit too noisy for me, but maybe because I had a difficult in sleeping those days.

Would recommend and stay again

I liked the location, easily walkable to many different sites in the city and with close access to public transit. There was water and coffee provided in the room. There was also a water fountain downstairs in the gym that I used to refill the water bottle. The front desk was able to help schedule a taxi to and from the airport. There were bikes on site to rent and a nice outdoor space with a water fountain you could sit at. The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom also smelled very good which was a nice bonus.

The beds were a bit soft for my preference but still overall comfortable.

Good hotel, but not good for people coming by car, as the hotel doesn’t manage its garage appropriately.

Great location and good room.

The hotel doesn’t manage its garage appropriately. They have 4 chargers for electrical vehicles, but they do not manage them. The result is that clients like myself find no way to charge their electrical car. Other people park cars there that are not charging, in total impunity. The hotel considers that they can’t do anything about it. But the real issue for me is that they don’t care, they don’t even try to manage it. For us this resulted in a big delay for our return trip. The fact that a 4 stars hotel in a rich city in a rich country has not yet found a way to service clients with electrical vehicles appropriately is in my opinion a big commercial mistake. For my next trips I will make sure before booking the hotel that they have reserved parking spaces with chargers and that they have a policy enforcement to manage them appropriately.

Staff is super friendly, the location is perfect. You get to reach most of the highlights by foot, if you want to.

At least a room service check-in every other day would be nice, considering the price per night. (There's probably just room service one you check out and I prolonged my stay)

Quite expensive with more than 370€ per night for a family room. Cleaning only upon request means you will run out of toilet paper if you do not actively request room service.

Travelled for the Ironman event. Everyone was very helpful, from the reception staff to the waiting/restaurant staff. They had little things like including a mat for keeping the bike in the room, having the option of an earlier breakfast before the event. There was also the array of bikes you could use to get around Hamburg. On check out they were incredibly accommodating with a later checkout than normal and a service for storing bags/bike, so it meant I could enjoy the last bit of Hamburg in the nearby park. When In Hamburg again I will definitely stay here.
