Sehr schönes, komfortabel eingerichtetes Zimmer ganz in der Nähe des Hamburger Hauptbahnhofs. Trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir konnten unser Gepäck in der Küche deponieren bis unser Zimmer für uns bereit war.

Das eigene Badezimmer ist über den Flur. Es bestand ein gewisses Risiko, dass man sich aus dem Bad ausschliesst, wenn man den Schlüssel im Bad hinlegt und beim Zurückkehren ins Zimmer die Tür des Badezimmers zuzieht. Ist uns zum Glück nicht passiert!

Wir waren zum 2.Mal hier. Diesmal Zimmer 1, kleiner und nicht ganz so gemütlich wie Zimmer 2. Bad auch sehr klein a'la Kreuzfahrtschiff. Unschlagbar Lage und Küchenbenutzung vor allem wenn man auf dwr Durchreise ist.

The location suited us well and the room was quiet and sizeable

This room did not meet my expectations- I felt misled by the description- I chose it for private bathroom and washing machine and tea making facilities in a mini kitchen - all of which I expected to be in what I thought was an apartment given the title Aparthotel Alster suite. However - the private bathroom was down the hall with the creakiest floorboards and accessed with a key, the tea making was in a shared kitchen downstairs and the washer dryer was also downstairs and in constant use for towels and not guests. We had to source our own toilet paper as there was not enough and no one to contact, and while I didn’t expect it there were no bathrobes or slippers as stated in the blurb. In the end I did use the washing machine and the kitchen and enjoyed our stay (except for fretting over toilet paper) but I feel the blurb could be much clearer
