Good location, improvement potential in service

Good location with a comfortable 10 minute walk from the central station. Room was spacious enough. Coffee maker and kettle and free mini bar for limited drinks which was a nice touch

My sink didn’t drain and I could not use it for the first night. Obviously auch things happen, but nobody on shift to fix it at night. Next day the problem was solved but the hotel made no follow up and provided no apology despite me having to wash my hands and brush my teeth in the shower. Rooms a bit poorly sound proofed as I could hear my neighbours TV clearly. Second night had to ask front desk to ask guest to turn it down. This was done immediately.

A good enough experience

The room was comfortable and clean. I liked that the hotel had a restaurant on the ground floor, quite convenient when you don't want to go out to eat. The location is a close enough walk to the main attractions of the city.

The wi-fi was not the best. To get better internet, you had to pay extra. Aside from that, on the first morning, the hot water was not working, and we had to take a cold shower. Luckily, it was summer and hot.

Building is showing its age and the AC didn’t work which meant I had to leave the windows crack- opened but it didn’t bother me… but had there been a heat wave it would have been a problem .

Rigide service, not at the level of the price

Very calm room and comfortable bed.

Terrible “room service”. After having ordered a soup and some bread, I called back to ask them if I could get some olive oil: “we’ll charge you €3,5 to get some deliver it to your room”. Well, keep your olive oil and your lack of service. I’ll not book again here.

Comfortable room.

One of the sockets didn't work, bathroom didn't have a proper door, just two pull across doors that didn't quite meet in the middle. Slightly dated hotel. Advertised a free minibar but this only contained one apple and one orange juice.

worth the money

lots of choice for breakfast. not all room were ready for check in; i believe they got a challenge with the system and cleaning team that day. centrally located, easy to get anywhere

sound proof could be improved. and parking is rather expensive, but i believe it's within the standard price

The aircon made crazy noises in the middle of the night. Woke up at 2am two nights in a row, couldn’t sleep anymore after that.

The breakfast and staff were exceptional.. only a 35 minute walk from attractions we were interested in seeing.

One slat in the blind of the bathroom was missing, preventing privacy. Couldn’t get room cool.

Immaculate hotel great location. Very pleasant staff .

We were meant to have two single beds . Arrived and a double bed which was no good . Fully booked so had to have a camp bed in the room . Wasn’t happy so got moved to another room next day

LOCATION, CLEANLINESS, COMPLIMENTARY MINI BAR, TOILETERIES

BREAKFAST HAS LITTLE VEGAN OPTIONS. WHAT EVER VEGAN WAS AVAILABLE WAS NOT MANAGED PROPERLY. AS VEGAN AND NON VEGAN OPTIONS WERE LAY OUT TOGETHER AND SAME CUTLERY WAS USED TO SERVE BOTH NON VEGETARIAN OPTION AND VEGAN OPTION.

A nice place to stay when visiting Cologne.

Clean rooms with a spacious layout. While the location is a little away from the centre of the city, I liked this more quiet neighbourhood away from the busy tourist areas. Staff were friendly and the gym had the basic equipment I needed for a workout.

Superb

Our room had a panoramic view of the city with nice balcony. The room was clean, spacious and love the free minibar. The staff welcomed us with good smile with good English. We appreciated the late checkout option. Will love to come back!

Nice hotel, best location. Recommend to stay.

Really good hotel, nice staff, great location. Hotel is dog friendly, we told to the staff that we will stay with a dog, so they prepared a water bowl and gave him a cover.

I didn’t find the information about dogs on their website and here on booking, so I was needed to call and ask if they accept visitors with dog
