Nice old building, staff good & in a decent location, but the breakfast very heavily let it down

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Lovely big apartment, with excellent heating. Good location.

Crockery, utensils & cooking equipment were virtually non-existent, so if you wanted to cook or even prepare light food, you couldn't (there were 2 glasses and 2 tiny cups with saucers, that it). The fridge was old and not very effective. Had to pay extra to use the hotel sauna. However, the deal-breaker was that this was honestly, the most disappointing breakfast I have ever had, in any hotel, anywhere in the world - this alone would stop me from staying here again.

Spacious and clean accommodation

A spacious and clean apartment, great for a family of four. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The cathedral is just a 10-minute walk away, and the nearby Eigelsteintorburg offers great cafés and several lovely breakfast spots.

Wasn’t able to enjoy the sauna, since sauna use was only until 2200hrs . For Sauna use you need to let staff know 1hr in advance so they can “turn it on”.

Great location, friendly staff

Great location, only a half-mile to the Cathedral. Very friendly and attentive staff. The rooms were clean.

The rooms were designed to be energy efficient, which is great, however - becuase a card needs to be in the slot to provide power to the room it meant that the fridge did not run unless you got a second key or put a different card in there. So recommend getting a second key or bringing an extra debit card or something to put in the slot.

Great weekend break.

Friendly helpful staff, good location only a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral. Lovely big room, clean and tidy.

The bath was very high so difficult to get in and out, the towels were small and not very thick.

Good location. 5 minute walk from train station.

Breakfast was so poor £80 for 2 days. The lack of choice , poor quality, no toasters, one single use coffee machine. Was only worth £10 maximum for 2 days. That’s to cover the coffee. Better choice at the train station which is like a shopping mall.

Perfect for a couple.

The desk man was excellent. We were able to check in early as we arrived on a train. The view from the room was wonderful - we could see the cathedral and it was lit at night The street two blocks away has wonderful bar/ restaurant selection.

Wonderful, would recommend and stay here again.

The room was very comfortable, the location was good for us and not far from the Train Station or the Cathedral. The breakfast was very good and offered a lot of choices - even my kids were happy! Front desk staff was very welcoming even with our late evening arrival, they provided parking instructions, details to get around the area and a wonderful dinner recommendation that was still open.

Some construction in the area caused some confusion but, that is not on the hotel -

Still an excellent stay, but I’ve had much better in Germany for the same price and for less!

Breakfast was excellent, the decor is great, location is fine. I appreciated the cups in the room and teas on offer, and the staff were attentive.

Funny smell coming from bathroom drain, the sauna was broken (this should be noted for advertisements and when renting out rooms! This is a factor on where I book, and I would have booked a place with a sauna! Bread was also frozen and had been heated at breakfast- but was still frozen when served at the bread area and we had to tell staff. This is a no-no! I expect more from Germany and from a place that has some sort of Michelin review for its night restaurant.

Overall a very stay in a great location

The location & ambience was great. Rooms were very small but bed very comfortable

We stayed for 4 nights and ran out of coffee sachets & toilet paper when requested staff initially reluctant to supply.

Surprisingly nice hotel in city center, Friendly service from the staff is really excellent

The friendliness of the staff was really more than I ever experienced. From the frontdesk to the concierge. They all really wanted to do a step extra for the customers. Large room with comfortable bed Walking distance from city centre The restaurant next to the hotel is also very good.

The staff was really nice and so was the room. It’s a good distance to the central station

There was construction across the street and they started working as early as 7am so you couldn’t really sleep in. The whole road was closed on one side as well because of the huge construction area.

Good value

The room itself was very spacious and it was nice that they provided complimentary water coffee and tea. Everything was very clean and the room was quiet. Very close to central station and within walkable distance to main attractions.

Very little space to store luggage. They only have a little closet that was mostly full to leave the luggage while we waited for check-in time.

Lovely place to stay

This is a lovely little boutique hotel with fresh, light decor. The room was well equipped with fridge, kettle, safe and storage space. The hotel is built around a central courtyard. The restaurant (which is separately run in the evenings) was not cheap but the food was excellent. Breakfast (which was included in our stay) was also very good.

Very helpful, despite the loud construction that affects so many rooms

There was a construction inder pur original room. We asked for another room in the morning, and by the afternoon they gave us a quieter room. Very helpful. They also have tips for what to see.

There is a construction so half of the rooms is subjected to immense noise from 7am (they started at 7 where we were there)

Great location and very spacious but lacks essential amenities and cleanliness

Big space, modern furniture. The location is good and close to many cool restaurants and a supermarket.

Place was a little run down. Room cleaning was not very thorough and inconsistent on knowing whether they would come. For reference, we stayed 6 nights and only got cleaning done once. The kitchen was a big disappointment. The pictures online when booking showed a modern kitchen with tools. In reality it was not really a kitchen and more like a closet with a sink and small stove. The only cooking utensil was a pan, there were no pots or anything else. Not sure it's worth it when deciding between this hotel and an Airbnb with more amenities.

room size, nice building

we checked in around 15:00, and the room wasn't ready, when we went inside some pillow covers were missing and one of the blanket covers. After i went down to the reception they informed me that they new that some of these were missing (in other rooms too) and that they would attend to the matter. I personally would prefer to be informed beforehand that go an find out for my self. But the stuff was really polite, the matter was resolved so i think it mostly better planning and not negligence. But cleaning should be better. Also the construction works next to the hotel were noisy and the whole building was vibrating from time time.

Very good

The staff was nice.The breakfast and the breakfast service was really good.We loved it.Wide range of foods and drinks.The breakfast staff was really nice and kind.We could ask fresh fried eggs. We could check in late night and check out early morning, it was great because of our flights time schedule.

The room was clean. butI broke my EDT in the bathroom,and I said it to the receptionist to clean it up,broken glasses were around there.It was not done during daily room cleaning , when we back to the hotel room during late evening broken glasses were around still. One of the electrical plug was not covered under the TV on the wall.
