Urban Loft was an easy walk from the train station, making it a very convenient base for exploring the city. As with many hotels near a major station, you can expect the usual mix of locals, travellers, and a few interesting characters and panhandlers.
The hotel itself felt new and well maintained. Room was clean, the bathroom was a good size, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. There’s a budget grocery store just a few doors down, and it’s an easy walk to the Cathedral, shopping streets, and other attractions.
The room didn’t have a mini fridge or a kettle for hot water, which would have been nice. On the plus side, the staff were outstanding, and I really appreciated the complimentary coffee in the lounge and the comfortable common space.

The hotel is nice and convenient located close to the train station. I find the area a bit precarious at night but is fine during the day. The sound proof is ok-ish. I can hear my neighbors through the wall.

The location is handy for the main station but perhaps considered the wrong side of the station for the main old town however it really is a short walk. It’s on a bustling street with many shops and restaurants with the old medieval gate towards one end. The rooms are compact but functional and comfortable. Value for money the hotel is a great option and I would stay again.
