Four stars greatly deserved

It is the four star hotel, and it lives up to this rating. Location is very convenient for the city. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Service is attending to the needs of guests. Breakfast is worth a special mention, specifically twenty-something teas to choose from, not to mention the sumptuous buffet.

Had one very noisy night, sounded like builders in the room next door from 2-6am but staff said no work happening when we reported it……

The bed was very comfy, the room was large

Quite expensive for what it is though this may be a Cologne issue. The parking facilities are not well signposted and quite tricky to get too. They were also closed that day. No forward notice. The hotel also had supply issues, no one informed us went to make a coffee and none were supplied, only when I raised this at reception were they forthcoming. In general the staff were helpful, but you had the sense from some that you were not the priority.

Perfect central location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and quiet bedrooms - sound proof windows and no disturbances from the hallway. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for both business and leisure, everything you need is right there!

Downsides, I attempted to call room service 4 times in the space of 3hrs during late morning/early afternoon and had no answer. Eventually got through and ordered some toast and apple juice, they delivered plain bread rolls and dried pastries then billed me €28 for it on checkout. The receptionist was understanding and removed it from my final bill, however this should never have been put through.

Everything about this hotel was amazing - it was clean, close to the centre and the staff were incredibly friendly.

A great hotel in Cologne

The hotel is located in the Media Park, a modern development in a park. The area feels safe and the hotel is near to shops, restaurants, etc. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection to choose from. I ordered a freshly made omelette which was very good. The staff are very professional and helpful. My room was in a quiet location and overlooked the park at the back of the hotel.

perfect location - silent room - perfect breakfast

The breakfast was perfect. The location was super. And the staff always friendly. The room was clean. I would rechose the hotel if I retravel to Köln. The park near to hotel is super so you could have super park view from your soom.

the hotel gives 1 bottle of water for the first night. If you stay more then one night - you have punishment to choose the hotel do not get the water. But thanks to nice staff ..The room servise they try to minimize everthing they put to room. THe paper towel was finished last night and no extra dush bonnets if you do not ask. But this does not mean bad in a way - so there could be less lastic use. There was no windows so there is always airconditioning which makes your skin dry and lips choped :)

The staff

Curtains had a hole, the bathroom had a metal door that doesnt closed. I asked two nights for room service. The second time I had to go to reception for my food and the order was wrong and its microwave food.

The location was out of the city centre but easily accessible by hired scooter or bike.
