We visited Cologne to see the Christmas markets and stayed at this hotel, and honestly, it was one of the best affordable hotels we stayed at during our Europe trip. The location was super convenient. There’s a supermarket right below the hotel, which was a huge plus for us since we usually stock up on water, drinks, and snacks when traveling. Everything we needed was nearby.
The hotel is just a short walk to three Christmas markets and also very close to the station, so getting around was easy. We booked a family room with two beds and a bunk bed, perfect for four people. The amenities were exactly what we needed. The beds were comfortable enough, the bathroom was a decent size, slippers were provided, and there was even a fridge in the room.
One thing to note is that the walls are a bit thin. You can hear the neighbors, but since we were out most of the time exploring, it didn’t really bother us. The staff were very helpful, polite, and accommodating throughout our stay.
Overall, we had a really good and pleasant stay. If you’re visiting Cologne and looking for an affordable hotel that’s convenient and well-equipped, this is definitely a solid choice.
