Excellent location, 3min walk to main train station. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed and quiet room if facing not on the bar side.
Although room is clean and comfortable, it is showing old age with significant marks along the walls and the shower head appeared broken forcing you to shower by holding the nozzle. It is overpriced but we live in times hotels are overcharging everywhere.

Staff were efficient but not overly friendly on check-in. very little general information about the hotel was offered or available in the room, ie wifi codes, bar and restaurant opening hours, sauna times etc. Room was very small although adequate for 2 persons
The cost for the size of the room although partial views of the cathedral were as advertised

"The property wasn’t a great location right by the giant cologne church. You could see it when you walked out and then a block to the other side down by the river. It was perfect. We did not need Ubers..."
