Disappointment. We will not choose 25hours again.

We specifically chose 25hours Hotel before other hotels as it had a nice sauna-spa area. Upon arrival we were informed that it was out of order. We were offered a bottle of water as compensation. The waiting time at the reception was very long despite no queue. Lack of staff. The first day at the breakfast the staff were particularly rude and unwelcoming. This was not the case the following two days. Despite having booked a room with a double bed we were given a room with single beds. As we had not touched the beds we could however change to another room. In the room itself there is a big lack of space to put your belongings. We had to use the floor to put our clothes on as there was no shelf. In the bathroom there is nowhere to put your toilet bag. It seems the room is not designed by people who travel a lot.

Nice hotel, more lights please

The location was good, very handy for the trams and only 15 min walk to the cathedral. The reception staff were great and the room was very clean.

The rooms are not well lit and the staff in the restaurant and bar were slow and quite rude. This seems to be a trait across the board with 25hours

Köln for Christmas Markets

The room was very nice: open, clean, bright, and with a pleasant aesthetic. The temperature was warm and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful inside, and it also has a very nice rooftop area and fun. The hotel staff were very friendly.

One minor downside was the rooftop experience. One staff member came across as a bit rude on one occasion. The cocktails were not very good overall, except for the Porn Star Martini. The outdoor rooftop area could also benefit from more lighting and warmth, as it didn’t feel very inviting for staying long.

Perfect weekend away hideout. You dont even want to leave the hotel.

- i loved this hotel. Bed was comfortable and unique. I loved the touch of the speaker to play some music -it felt like you didnt need to leave the hotel to have a good tome and be entertained. Sauna was good, the monkey bar rooftop and neni for food was nice -i liked the bike hire and cycle routes so I managed to see a lot about cologne by bike which was super nice -super nice reception hosts.

- monkey bar gets packed from public guests and sometimes you can’t find a spot even if a guest so better to book in advance

Cool and comfy with nice staff

Wonderful Hotel, very friendly and helpful staff! We especially loved the rooms, the sauna and the co-working area. The whole decoration is just nice and the location could not be more central.

Breakfast is unfortunately not really worth the money. You can skip it and go to one of the cafes nearby.

Friendly staff, good location

Not clean at all, furniture in the rooms had stains everywhere, the property overall looked very used and dirty. We didn’t feel comfortable at all and we were happy to leave

Loved the quirky atmosphere! I had stayed at one of your hotels in Vienna so I knew a little bit what to expect, and I was still impressed on top of that! The room was very large and fun, with details that made it even more interesting - newspaper, bag to use for day trips with the possibility to buy it it you wish, etc. The lobby was also super cool, with unusual hang out places, games, and fun mini-shops scattered all around the front desk area! The restaurant was excellent also, both as far as the food and the ambiance was concerned. The price was very reasonable for being in the center of Cologne, and free underground parking on top of that - almost too good to be true, but it was! :)

Pleasant enough but wouldn’t return.

Most of the staff were incredibly helpful, the bed was comfortable and the rainfall shower was wonderful. The late check out was a delightful bonus. It was also in a great location, away from traffic and with lots of wonderful restaurants around nearby.

Unfortunately out of the 5 25hr hotels I have visited this one was the most disappointing. I normally love the vibe and style and laid-backness of the group. Obviously certain things are out of the hotel’s control such as construction work surrounding the building, however the room we were given was immediately facing building works. I also requested a quiet room which this was not. The lady on reception was wonderful though and switched out our room for a much quieter one which was great, however both room also looked tired with scuff marks all along the walls and definitely in need of some retouching. Also, the room wasn’t the cleanest it could be with plenty of dust in areas. The floors also were not hoovered, the carpets inside and outside the room were stained and dirty and the toilet floor still had hair on it. The sauna opening at 2pm in comparison to the other hotels in the group seems incredibly late especially if you want to steam in the morning. There were no coffee or tea facilities in the room so you had to call up and request a kettle. The bar upstairs had a chill and cool vibe, however not especially friendly. Small things like this go a long way. Overall it was an okay experience but for the price they charge per night it wasn’t up to the usual 25hr hotel standards and definitely needs improving.

It’s a very cool, funky hotel with lots to do! The room was great and had everything you needed including a speaker which was great to have while getting ready. The location is also perfect, near all the restaurants and shops and just 15 min walk to the cathedral

Bustling hotel with peaceful room

Quirky design, convenient location a bit away from the main tourist drag. Room was quiet and curtains worked well to block out light. Great choice at breakfast and a great view to accompany. Useful to be able to borrow umbrellas from the hotel.

The bed was quite hard and we read too late you could ask for a mattress topper. Breakfast service was great the first morning. Staff less on the ball on the Monday. Filter coffee ran out and took ages to replenish. Observing other guests we realised there was a coffee machine available but the waiter didn’t tell me this when I asked if coffee was available.

Quirky hotel in a central location

We chose hotel because of its interesting architecture and quirky design. It’s location is good - a short walk to the city centre and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. In the hotel itself the Neni restaurant on the 8th floor offers great views of the city and wonderful, Middle Eastern inspired food. There is also a hearty buffet breakfast on offer. The mini bar in the room has a range of free drinks. Staff in reception were helpful and the room was quiet, bright and clean.

It would have been useful to have storage space ( e.g drawers) as there was only hanging space for clothes. A comfortable chair to sit in would also have improved our stay.

Found it on social media before booking and it was just as shown online. My daughter (6) had a great time and loved the reception area and all that was there. Staff were polite and helpful and the restaurant upstairs was accommodating and lovely. Food was delicious!

Overall, this is a solid choice for those seeking a relatively comfortable experience in a designer hotel setting. While it does not reach absolute perfection, it still offers a commendable stay, worthy of an 8 out of 10 rating.

TitleWhile my stay at this designer hotel was generally enjoyable, there were certain aspects that need attention to ensure a truly high-quality experience. Most notably, the lack of coffee availability before 11 AM was disappointing. Many guests, myself included, find the ability to start their day with a coffee to be essential. This is especially true for those who have not opted for breakfast in the hotel. The absence of an operating bar in the lobby before 11 AM could be mitigated by placing a coffee machine in the rooms. This would not only meet guests' morning coffee needs, but also raise the standard of service in line with the expectations for a hotel of this level. Additionally, during our visit to the sauna, we found that while robes were provided, slippers for the spa area were not. It's important for a hotel that prides itself on its sauna and lounge facilities to provide a complete set of amenities to ensure guest comfort and hygiene. While these concerns slightly marred my overall experience, I believe they are easily rectifiable. Addressing them would elevate the guest experience, better aligning it with the high standard this designer hotel appears to aspire towards.

Somehow nice!

The hotel has a very nice spot in the city. The bed is very comfy and the service is ok. The breakfast is very good! In general, the environment of the hotel is very nice, and the view of the room was great!

It lacks toiletries and seats in the room. The room can be considered very small for the price you paid.

Very comfortable quiet room with good curtains. Room was large and clean and very cool decor.

Reception was a little under staffed (though the staff who were there were great) and some of the furnishings are a bit jaded
