Good location and good sized rooms.

Funny drain smells in the rooms like rotten eggs. There was no tea making facilities in the rooms and when we asked for tea/ coffee from the bar we were told there weren’t enough staff.

Cleaning of rooms was every day. The hotel is very close to shops and restaurants. There was no noise from the street. The bathroom offers utilities.

Overally good but somethings should be improved.

Hotel is next to the shopping area, its very very close. But room was like incomplete. But it was overally so clean and tidy. Room structure was so cool as the pictures. Staff was ready to help.

There was no phone inside the room, and AC was not heating and no heater at all. And January cold make me suffer. Also there was little smell from the toilet

Not as expected, disappointed, money wise should had a better service.

The location and some staff not all of them.

In fact, no boiler in the room, no heater. It was super cold we asked several times to adjust the heater or air condition, nothing happened. The room was small, even though we booked a room with street view and had a confirmation, they provided a room with backyard view and told us that they don’t have a street view room, in addition to, no shoes, or toothbrush or extra services. The double bed was small, the blankets were also super small two blankets of 90 cm width each.They don’t stick to what you book or reserve.The last day we had to move through the second hotel since we had 4 luggages and the elevator was broken, they were repairing it.

Good location easy to walk into the busier parts. The room was nice and clean and comfy beds. Really liked the hotel and would stay again.

Worst stay of my 1.5 month multi city trip

Nothing. It’s not a 4-star. Hardly 2-star unless this is Cologne standard. We checked in ~6pm. They said your room is not ready but we have another one. Smelly (poop). We refused and said we wait for the original room. Then they said there’s no other room available They said no refund. I contacted booking.com, still after a couple of days haven’t heard back! After more than an hour a lady in the staff showed up and saved the day for this hotel and led us to a clean room. Thank you lady! otherwise I was going to book another hotel at close to 8pm and put a dispute on the charge for this hotel. Don’t go there.

Old bathroom that needs renovation. The window opens over the bed (small room and bad design).dirty carpet. I believe that the building has a sewer problem and they have a fragrant spray handy. They don’t have a real sun-deck. This hotel is barely an average motel level.

This is a good location with good size rooms for Europe.

There was no retaurant operating at the hotel and the bar was tended by the staff at the front desk which meant there was no service.

the location was perfect - really convenient to the train stations, as well as shopping areas. it was also right in the middle of the parade route too for Karneval. We had a great time!

the beds were pretty small, and not very comfortable. slept ok but our room wasn't very suited for two.

The location is excellent. Breakfast is good and the staff is also friendly. However, the stay in the room was not that comfortable, since the beds are just to small to fit two adults.

Great hotel in perfect location to explore Cologne

Lovely hotel in a great location in Cologne. We stayed here in December and used this hotel as a base to explore the Christmas markets - the location was exceptional for this. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful, both with questions before arrival and during the stay.

Hotel in quite and pleasant location.

The hotel is located in a quiet enclave in a fairly central location in respect of Cologne's old town. There is a good little trattoria down the road and a popular Japanese eatery around the corner. Standard German hotel breakfast available, but quite satisfactory. Room had view towards the Dom.

Front of house on arrival was perfunctory and unhelpful, though perfectly polite -- it initially gave us bad vibes about the hotel. Water was provided on first day of week long stay and renewed only once even though we quickly emptied both bottles. Front of house on enquiry said the hotel had no means of providing tea or coffee, implicitly not even in the bar.
