the first floor smelled bad like old and dust and in the room it smelled strongly like perfume i think to cover the smell

Perfect location, right near the centre. Friendly reception staff.
I had a shower on arrival and found the shower gel was completely empty. The room was uncomfortably hot and affected our sleep. This was without any heating on. The pillow provided was very uncomfortable and further affected our sleep on the first night. We did then ask for a different pillow and this was provided.
