Perfect stay for Grindelwald winter trip.

Great location in center of town, next to First skilift and bus stop in front of hotel. Nice breakfast and friendly personnel.

Cozy interior in good location.

Google maps takes to side entrance which is 2 to 3 floors high. Had to drag heavy suitcases almost 2 floors high. It would have been helpful if the owner told that main entrance was on the road as she already knew about Google maps mis direction.

It was charming! It is a place that feels authentically Swiss. It is near the main road but set back so it was quiet yet everything was accessible. The view from our room was breathtaking! It was nice to be able to sit on the balcony and take it in. We appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good also.

Friendliest staff in the alps

Location was perfect, right next to the first cable car station. The room was spacious and clean, albeit a bit old fashioned. The staff was super friendly and kind.

Breakfast could be improved a bit. Also it's a bit pricy, but I guess that's just because it's in Switzerland.

Wonderful hotel. Can walk to the train station with your luggage -about a 10 minute walk.

Location was great and my view was wonderful.

I did have to carry my heavy suitcase up a flight of steps, but I kind of knew I was coming to Europe and that was gonna be the case.

Perfect and comfortable

It was fantastic 5 nights stay! Great location of the hotel, very quiet, private parking, friendly and helpful staff, yummy breakfast. The departure from the hotel was like leaving your relatives, the lady at reception even presented to us two bars of local chocolate

Wonderful experience for our first trip to Grindlewald

Lovely Swiss chalet style hotel with lots of character and very friendly/helpful owner, great breakfasts, good size room/balcony, impressive sauna room (to help revive after long hikes) and all conveniently located by the First lift. Would gladly stay here again.

Gorgeous family run hotel with a warm welcome and departure! They made our stay extra special and always very friendly. We would absolutely stay here again!

The price was quite strap for us but we booked veey close to the date so that's on us!

The hotel is run by the owner and you can see that she knows very well how to offer a perfect service and takes pride in it. The breakfast was fantastic, with high quality products. Thank you!

One of the shutter’s was damaged so we couldn’t close it and the sun light woke us up at 6am. But we managed to go back to sleep, so it was ok.

Charming, welcoming chalet style hotel.

One the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Staff is wonderful and, helpful. The Chalet style is very familial with nice local decorations. I am looking forward to coming back to stay here.

Perfect location in the center of town nice quiet, great staff

Location was perfect in the heart of town but close to the train station. I was able to walk next-door to do the first Grindelwald lift. Be sure to use your half pass there. Check-in staff at the hotel was amazing and very friendly. I felt very comfortable staying there alone.

Great Hotel for a stay in Grindelwald

Great breakfast with fresh ingridients, fresh made eggs. Rooms are comfy and clean. Parking is easy. Decoration is a Bit 80is.

Great location. Friendly staff. I was surprise that key gas to be left in a board in exchange for the building key, where any one can have access to the room key after that. I suppose is safe but I had never experienced that key system before.

Distance from the train station - uphill makes it quite difficult upon arrival. After arrival and being informed about the bus helps.

Location was great, hotel was clean and spacious with no lacking in terms of service. Breakfast was decent too

Wonderful location and clean, comfortable room with incredible view of the mountains!

Excellent location, clean and comfortable room and furnishings - Anna, the owner was very kind and helpful. Great breakfast included each morning.

I would only recommend shampoo, conditioner and body wash in larger bottles (not single use) and maybe coffee included in room. We did have tea.
