MESMERISING!

The location, the amazing view from the terrace and balcony of our room. We stayed 2 days in a room with mountain view and 3 days in a room which doesn’t have the same view but even the view from that balcony was great. Amazing staff, very kind and helpful. Provided us very useful information about the area, about transportation and activities. We also met the owner and had a great and warm conversation. The area is amazing! The hotel is cosy and I think the view was even sufficient for me. I could easily just sit there and enjoy the amazing mountain view.

lThe only downside I can think of has nothing to do with the hotel. If you want to eat outside, because the hotel has no restaurant (only breakfast), you need to be aware that after 18:00 there are no busses anymore. This means either a firm walk back from the center or park the car in the underground parking in the center.

+ friendly and helpful staff + great, fresh breakfast + very clean + modern interior and still with a mountain/chill vibe + nice chill area with free games and coffee/tee + very nice view + free parking + tourist pass (free bus drives and price reductions for example at the Sportzentrum)

- hotel is not very centrally located (there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel which drives twice an hour) - bed blankets were very heavy

A charming stay with warm service and modern comfort, though a few small details could be improved.

The breakfast and décor are absolutely adorable, and the staff truly go out of their way to care for guests. We arrived late on the 31st and were offered a shuttle service from town after midnight the owner himself came to pick us up, which felt so warm and thoughtful. The front desk team were polite, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. Customer service was commendable even before check‑in, as I had to change dates and they handled it seamlessly with quick, helpful responses. The rooms are spotless, modern, and chic. Overall, a wonderful experience highly recommend!

A few small improvements could make the property even better such as brighter lighting in the room and the addition of a lift for easier access. That said, the staff were always ready to help with luggage, so these points felt minor compared to the overall positive experience.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, everything was clean, comfortable, and very well organized. What truly made the experience special was the lady at the service desk; she was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Her warm attitude and attention to detail made me feel truly welcome, and I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was nice overall, but it wasn’t the most convenient choice when traveling with a lot of luggage. The long, steep hills going up and down to reach the property made moving bags quite difficult and tiring, especially after a long journey.

Spectacular Hotel

Everything was spot on ! The room was very clean, and a perfume note welcomed us everytime we entered the room. We celebrated my wife birthday and the staff was kind enough to arrange a flower bouquet for her. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The views are spectacular.

The only thing that bothered me was the outlets in the room. They use some odd sockets for the outlet and I could plug my laptop charger. Other than that, everything was exceptional !

Everything! The location is the absolute best in Grindelwald, right in front of the mountains. The staff is awesome! Extremely clean property from top to bottom. The room that we stayed was great, modern, clean. This is a A+++ spot in Grindelwald! Amazing breakfast too!

Fantastic hotel

Upon arrival, the warm hospitality of the staff was evident. They greeted us with friendly smiles and made the check-in process seamless. The lobby offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, complete with a fireplace that sets the perfect tone for relaxation after a day of exploring. Our room was nothing short of spectacular. Not only was it spacious and beautifully decorated, but the large windows provided an unparalleled view of the surrounding mountains. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, ensuring restful nights. The bathroom was modern, equipped with luxurious amenities and a soaking tub that was perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking. The Panorama Hotel exceeded all of my expectations. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and stunning alpine views, I can recommend this place highly.

Overall great stay, staff and location but need work on vegetarian breakfast

Location was awesome (breath taking). Excellent choice. Hotel was super clean. Staff was great. Jan (pronounced Yan) is a gentleman and deserves 11 out of 10 for exceptional service and great attitude . Katy was nice and so was Maria.

1. Breakfast: we are vegetarian (no eggs no meat), but we had no choice in hot breakfast and we only love hot breakfast. Other hotels do provide choices in hot vegetarians breakfast . When we book this hotel and agreed to pay $500 per night we expected decent great hot breakfast. 2. Location because no buses after 7 pm (and we travel late or out for dinner late). No hotel shuttle (even if we had to pay it would be nice ). 3. Rooms were smaller than what’s was shown in pictures. I paid based on pictures which showed decent size comfortable rooms for couple. Little misleading. Please make sure (via email or call) with the reservation so no issues.

The best hotel in Grindelwald!

All the staff are excellent! Katy takes pride and ownership in every guest detail. Jan is so kind and patient. The staff work very well together and the gentleman who cleans up in the background is also not to be missed! There is no better view than here! Loved the bathroom amenities and the coffee bar. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. The place is quiet - we are definitely going back!

Amazing stay in an Amazing location

Our stay during summer was fantastic! Staying in this location does come at a cost, but really for what we got it was well worth it. The whole hotel was very modern and super clean and tidy. We had a stunning view from our balcony, however even if you didn't have a balcony the view from the communal terrace was just as good. The hotel has a big communal lounge area that also had complimentary tea and coffee machine as well as the ability to purchase snacks and other drinks if you liked. The breakfast was fantastic and started nice and early so you could go out and get on with your day! All the staff we came across were super friendly and helpful and even offered us a lift down to the train station when we were leaving which was super nice. To access the hotel there are two buses, one literally stops at the front door and the other stops about 10min walk away. However there is also a nice walk down into town that cuts through the houses, its a bit steep on the way back up though! Great spot, great people, really enjoyed our stay.

It was a very minor thing but the lighting in the room didn't actually allow the room to get all that bright.

Absolutely recommended

Newly renovated property; helpful and friendly staff (Katrina, Maria and etc), great view of the majestic mountains; love the side lobby lounge and the bread for breakfast. The free coffee and tea all day (till 10pm) was also a thoughtful treat especially after returning from our road trips. Location wise, it is slightly away from the hustle and bustle but offered us a great respite for a peaceful and joyful stay. Parking was quite ample too.

A lift would have been helpful plus more light bulbs in the rooms we stayed.

If you’re concerned about the location being outside the village—no worries! A free shuttle makes it easy to get to the village and various activities. We definitely have to come back here!

We managed to get this booking as a last-minute deal. The place and location were absolutely stunning. The views from the room were really great. The staff was really helpful and very kind people. The breakfast was really nice and you can have it watching Jungfrough mountain range. They also have on-site EV charging points. All in all, highly recommended place to stay if you want to stay in Grindelwald.

Amazing and the view is breathless

The hotel is amazing and please remember it's a boutique hotel and there are no elevators, so if you have a lot of luggage then think twice about what you want to take. The owner is beyond amazing and the staff as well. There was this amazing young lady who is working there during breakfast time, and I cannot thank her enough for her help and hospitality.

Excellent choice for our accommodations

This property is totally amazing in every area. They answered all of our questions gracefully (and we had many). We had seven family members. The breakfast certainly gets a 10! So many different offerings on the buffet and coffee table! The view is spectacular! It would be difficult to find anything comparable. They have free laundry facilities as well (bring your own detergent). The recent total renovation by the owners is so perfect—modern yet feels like home. My words are so inadequate to truly describe how marvelous this property is! You won’t be disappointed!!

We are on our honeymoon trip, And this is our favorite hotel of the trip. The host is wonderful and helpful, we go to him Every morning to ask for advice on what we should do for today cuz he knows everything about grindelwald The breakfast is excellent , the room is cozy, The bus stop is right in front of the hotel , so it’s super convenient. You get great view simply walk outside of the hotel , I Highly reccomend this hotel :) Will definitely come back again

the property itself was absolutely beautiful, everything was so nicely decorated and the views were exceptional. the owners were so friendly and accommodating, giving great advice for the best things to do and how to get to everything with a free local public transport pass included. the breakfast and hot drinks were also a lovely touch, an absolutely lovely stay
