Excellent small hotel in the center of town

Great independent hotel in the heart of Grindelwald. Excellent spa with great views from the room, the dining area, and the spa. Super-lovely staff and good breakfast. Would definitely stay there the next tine I'm in Grindelwald.

Fabulous.

Lovely hotel with views to die for. Lovely lobby with wood fire at night. Efficient staff. Good breakfast. Rooms compact with adequate with adjustable radiator. Spa is excellent with hot sauna then cold ice tunnel (you can wear a towel but no swimwear). Increasing rooms. Outside pool nice but can get crowded and sometimes with video influencers. Close to everything in town.

A wonderful stay

A very spacious room for a single - gorgeous view of the Eiger from the balcony. Fantastic breakfast - also with the gorgeous view. All the staff I encountered (reception, breakfast room and spa facility) were excellent. A perfect location - close to everything, including the station. The guest card (which I believe all hotels in Grindelwald have for guests), gives you 50% off the Sports Centre, 5 minutes down the road, on the way back to the station. The pool there is lovely. The slippers the hotel provides.

The basin in the bathroom was slightly blocked, it didn't drain quickly and there was a slight smell in the bathroom - I presume resulting from this. Also, a micro-complaint, for the size of the TV, it was a little far from the bed to see it clearly when watching it in bed.

Great location, stunning mountain & valley views, comfortable room and excellent food

The room (Double Room With Eiger View) was spacious, well equipped, warm, and comfortable with a stunning view of the Eiger mountain. The outdoor heated (hot, not only warm!) pool was a highlight, and the saunas and steam rooms were pleasant and very clean. Breakfast and dinner were varied, tasty, and of excellent quality - particular dinner. The extra hour for late check-out was appreciated, as we could use the pool and spa area on departure morning/afternoon. We also appreciated the restaurant manager assigning us the same window table for dinner on two consecutive nights - thank you!

The bathroom was a little of the small side, although well-equipped, clean, with good toiletries provided. The time from ordering to receiving dinner was lengthy (approx. 45mins), however the service was attentive and most of the waiters/waitresses were friendly and accommodating.

Superb experience esp the sauna.

The service is superb, they picked us up from train station and back when we left. The view from the room is great. The spa is exceptional with sauna and also the hot pool (though not that hot when we were there at 8pm during winter).. wish it could be more warm. They also cook and serve fresh and delicious omelette during breakfast.

Great stay at the centre of the village with exceptional views

Loved everything about this property. We stayed here at the Eiger Suite in October, few days before the hotel was supposed to close for the season. Rooms were really spacious, with impeccable views. Luckily, we had great weather during the entirety of our stay, which meant we properly utilized the terrace that came with the suite. Though the hotel restaurants were already closed down for the season, but the breakfast service was still open and it had a wide spread with great selections. Lady/Ladies at the front desk was/were always very polite and helpful. We would definitely be staying here again when we return to Grindelwald.

The rooms are spacious and the quality of the restaurant was as we remembered from many years ago. The hotel is well-situated for what we wanted to do in the village. We appreciated that we could park our car. Our travel guests enjoyed the spa facilities.

Excellent hotel with spa and fabulous location

We had a 2 bedroom suite overlooking the Eiger which was superb. The Spa with a view of the mountains from the outdoor pool was amazing

We weren't sure what belonged to the hotel and what didn't, there was a lounge area but seemingly no place to get drinks from but within the building there was a bar and another restaurant but it was for public. You couldn't sit on the terrace with a drink unless you were dining at the time.

Lovely hotel in glorious Grindelwald

Fantastic location, amazing view from the balcony (get a room with Mt Eiger view if you can), very friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant on premises that is reasonably priced for dinner. Lovely spa and pool facilities.

Breakfast was nice but not a lot of variety. Beds were quite hard. Rooms are a little dated. Plugs are not in the right locations for using the kettle, phone charging etc.

From start to finish this hotel was amazing. We stayed in the Eiger suite with another couple. Plenty of room for privacy We had 2 large bedrooms with incredible views, 2 bathrooms and a good sized lounge. The patio area was excellent and overlooked the Main Street, the Eiger and the valley of Grindelwald. The spa is one of the best I’ve been in. It had everything you need. We stayed in August and I would often have the pool to myself. We ate in the restaurant one evening and had a lovely meal. The restaurant offers delicious Italian food. Recommend to book in advance if you want to sit on the terrace. Very close to all other amenities, cafe’s restaurants and shops. Everything is spotless, the staff were polite and friendly. Super location just a 5 min walk from station. Will definitely visit again.

The only thing I would recommend to the hotel is to buy covers for the food at breakfast to stop flies landing on the meats and pastries. This was off putting

Hotel Spinne is perfectly located right in the heart of Grindelwald, making it easy to explore the town. The outdoor pool offers stunning mountain views and wonderfully warm water — a real treat after a day out. Breakfast is standard but satisfying. The Jungfrau Suite was absolutely beautiful, with two full bathrooms, a primary bedroom, and a second smaller children’s bedroom with two twin beds. The view was stunning. The suite was perfect. I never wanted to leave.

Flies at breakfast. It was warm while we were there, so all the doors and windows were open. The included breakfast buffet was crawling in flies and it just turned my stomach.

Stunning views, perfect location

The view from the room was incredible, it was ideally located to reach the cable cars and station. The spa was ideal after a long day on the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and the made to order omelette were superb

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location that’s walking distance to the train station and the gondola to First

Stunning views from our balcony for my husbands 50th birthday. We could hear the water rushing down the mountain. It was very relaxing. The beds were really comfortable and the infinity pool was hot.

Dream vacation enabled

It’s at the best location if one wants to explore Grindelwald leisurely. The suite was clean, spacious with a great view and all amenities. Staff was quite friendly and helpful. We enjoyed Spa facilities and infinity pool that had amazing view. There was nothing lacking in the services and amenities offered. It had value for its money. Also the lady at the reception helped us with car parking even after hotel checkout that was a huge plus for our trip.

The view from the swimming pool and the room was even more breathtaking than on the pictures. The dinner and staff were amazing.

There were quite a lot of flies in the restaurant during dinner and breakfast time as well.
