I’ve stayed here twice now and both times it’s been perfect.

Everything is clean, the rooms are comfortable ,the owners are really welcoming and polite. The breakfasts are lovely and the location is great.

The couple who run it were very welcoming room was clean and got told everything you needed to know also breakfast was filling and an would get you through the day short walk down a hill to boat trips and restaurants

Excellent location, spacious room with good sea view(room 3), comfortable bed, very good en suite with spacious shower room, exceptionally friendly hosts, very good quality breakfast choice, this is how guest houses should be run.

Very good all round - with private parking a bonus!

We found the room very comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was great too. Our hosts Julia and Jon were very welcoming and encouraged us to let them know if we needed anything. No need, as they had already thought of everything. We hope to stay at San Brelade again

B&B Delight in Paignton

We have visited this B&B San Brelade on several occasions and every time we have visited it never disappoints us👍🏾hosts are lovely Julie & Jon so friendly and knowledgeable with Paignton. Where the B&B is situated there are places to eat nearby. Property has a car park in the front which is a bonus and free. Breakfasts are filling and a great choice of cereals if you fancy. Julie you did an excellent job with my poached eggs👍🏾Fantastic stay all round.

The room was lovely, decor was great, tidy, comfortable bed and great amenities. We booked the sea view room and was not disappointed. The location is excellent and is just a short walk from both Paignton Harbour and Town and Goodrington.

Would love breakfast next time to experience it and see more of the hosts!

Time to ourselves

Julie & Jon greeted us on arrival. There are 4 parking spaces available on the property. On entering the property, it was clean, spacious, and very nice decor. We had received a txt message earlier in the day to say our room was ready prior to our book in time of 3pm, which was a lovely gesture. Julie went through the itenary of where everything was and times of breakfast sittings. Jon took us to our room on the 1st floor. There are another 3 rooms on our landing and a self-contained family flat on the 2nd floor. Our room was lovely, bright, clean, and spacious. There is a very ckean, bright en-suite with a shower and towels were provided. Very modern with a chic feel. We had all the normal little features of a kettle. Mini fridge, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, and bottled water. TV also in the room. Paignton Harbour and sea front is literally a 10 min walk. Slight hill going down and returning. My husband has arthritis in his knees and managed the walk to and from. There is a seat, halfway up the hill, which we did make use of on our return walk. Very quiet area. We had a very comfortable nights sleep and a lovely shower before breakfast. Jon asked what we would like for breakfast. There was a variety of cereals, full English. We had orange juice, tea & coffee. My husband had scrambled egg on toast while I had a fried egg sandwich. Our breakfast was cooked to perfection. The 2nd morning, my husband chose the same, while I had 2 pieces of toast and 2 slices of bacon. The dining room was clean, bright, and soft music plated in the background. Overall, we had a very relaxing, comfortable stay. San Brelade is very close to the beach. restaurants, bars, and your typical holiday amusements. The town is around 10 - 15 min walk. Julie and Jon were the perfect hosts. We will definitely stay again.

San Brelade in August 2023

A great house in a very good location. Easy to find and far enough away from the seafront to be quiet. Hosts were very welcoming. Lovely breakfasts. Room 3 had the sea view which was lovely and had the boutique feel about it that we like. Private parking off road was important and this had it. Very pleased. Not much not to not like tbh. Would definitely book here again.

Being really picky over a couple of minor things that others may not worry about. Mattress could have been firmer. Lack of real wardrobe, it just had a hanging rail, and a bigger chest of drawers. That's it.
