The Clifton at Paignton

Excellent communication throughout. I arrived around 10:45 AM and was able to drop off my luggage early—in fact, my room was already prepared, and Steve kindly carried my bag upstairs. The ceiling fan light was a lifesaver in the summer heat! The room was well-equipped with a mini-fridge containing fresh water, plus tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits that were replenished daily. Best of all, the location is unbeatable: just a 5-minute walk from the train station and 2 minutes to the beach. Highly recommended, and I would certainly stay again for future Paignton holidays.

There was nothing to fault—everything was great throughout my stay.

Breakfast was adequate and tasty. Lots of choice.

Unfortunately as we booked late we had a room on the top floor. Managed but would have been easier on lower floor.

There was a choice of cooked breakfast and cereal and toast with a large pot of good coffee. It was situated just behind our favourite pub but not too noisy. Free parking all weekend. Very friendly.

Could of had two keys. Scrambled egg was a little overcooked.

The stay at Clifton hotel was very enjoyable, the room was very clean with tea & coffee making facility, we were greeted by Steve a really down-to-earth guy who took our bags to our room, Parked right out side the hotel. The breakfast was very good & a lot to chose from, Claire was also very charming & helpful, ideally situated for the beach & for the town centre. Would I stay there again yes is the answer .
