Fab hotel

I had a lovely, warm welcome from the owners Steve and Claire. The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable, good firm/poss new mattress. The bathroom was super clean with a good shower. Fresh towels and shower gel provided. The TV had loads of channels so got to watch some of my fave shows whilst staying also, bonus! Overall this is a great hotel in a perfect location for the beach and shops etc. Car parking spaces available, parked up no problems. Will book again in the future.

Sets a high standard in hospitality for the welcoming environment

One of the best cooked breakfasts I have eaten. Needs to be ordered the night before. Is served between 0815 - 0900 and definitely worth it, freshly cooked to order. A range of breakfast options are provided. Can have continental or Full or vegetarian cooked options. Owners are so friendly, make you feel like you're staying with a good friend. Room was very comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee and a bottle of water was also provided on arrival. Free wifi and access to parking during the stay. Helpful folder in room giving details about stay and local area.

We liked how friendly steve & claire was. They made us feel very welcomed from the day we arrived to the day we departed. The breakfast was exceptional, the location was perfect, the accommodation was spotlessly clean.

Lovely owners. Fab location! Lovely couple of nights

Claire and Steve are lovely, welcoming people! We were met by smiles, and offers of help with luggage. We got to our room, my two children were pleased with their beds (with their own door!) breakfast was fab, and conversation between other guests and owners seemed to flow nicely in the morning too

We slept okay, but our pillows were a bit hard, but understand people like things differently. The shower pressure was weak, my son showered fine but the rest of us no chance, as my hair is thick the water would've just been a drizzle to it. Other then that I can't complain on anything!! The flight of stairs was hard for my mum, but I'm sure if I knew/mentioned something beforehand it could have maybe been resolved or adviced otherwise.

Absolutely amazing in all ways!

An excellent b and b with super hosts. It was clean and we stayed in room 3 which was very comfortable. We hadn’t booked breakfast but decided to book on arrival and we are so glad we did. The breakfast didn’t disappoint and once again the hosts were very welcoming and interacted with the guests which was lovely. We would highly recommend this b and b to all and will definitely be returning!

Just stayed two days for my grandson's sailing regatta. The Clifton suited my needs perfectly.

Handily located, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. Claire and Steve take a genuine interest in their guests without being OTT. They make you feel like a welcome guest, not just a visiting grockel.

A great guest house close to the beach with friendly hosts

The guesthouse is in a good location, next to the beach, the pubs, the shops and is a great starting point for taking the South west coast path. Claire and Steve are great hosts, they really care about their guests and will make your day with a tasty breakfast and a friendly conversation.

You might hear your neighbor sleep or watch the TV, but that's part of the authentic expereince :)

Comfortable room with plenty of space to move around and a good shower. Hosts Claire and Steve couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and the breakfast was very good. Very convenient parking right outside too.

Bob's jolly holiday

Hotel was in a perfect setting 50 yards from seafront owners Steven and Claire are a wonderful couple,there are great places to eat nearby one has live music at weekends that's called the spinning wheel,best Sunday carvery ,just up the front there's a place call the Shorline which is elevated so you can look over the bay sipping a coffee.would highly recommend the Clifton Hotel,give it a Go!!
