Lovely owners, made us feel very welcome, room was lovely and clean, comfy and cosy. Breakfast was lovely, and Coco the cat was super cute and affectionate!! We did not get to see Dave the cat unfortunately.

In a great location. Within easy walking distance for train station , shops, bars and restaurants. Great hosts, nothing too much trouble. Lovely breakfast cooked to our liking :)

The bedroom was on the 3rd Floor which for me as an 82 yr old was not the easiest to get to with luggage. Luckily I had only a small suitcase. I slept ok but in fairness I always do but the mattress I think was the coiled spring variety which was not the most comfortable

Graham and Kat were perfect hosts, nothing was to much trouble for them.

A good choice of food available for breakfast off of a menu which you could order from the day before. The location was good only a few minutes away from the town and harbour.

Very friendly welcoming guests, very close 2-3minutes walk to beach and playground, and shops other 5minutes. Great breakfasts, freshly made. Clean room, bathroom also. Comfortable bed, cozy room. When my daughter had a horrible accident on playground, the owners kindly offered ice lolly for her, and offered help if we needed. Felt like home away from home. We really appreciated it.

Good location, good breakfast, noisy gulls.

Location excellent to get to everything the town has to offer and to be able to get to rest of Torbay. Close to train station and beach. Breakfast was very good. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Room was very good with big bed and en suite bathroom.

Gulls were very noisy as in an area where they all gather / nest and you hear them in early hours when trying to sleep. They're also quite aggressive, so watch out when eating out with chips / ice creams etc. Towel holder kept falling off the wall.

Spotless, modern rooms, friendly hosts, great breakfast and a perfect location

It was fabulous. The location was perfect. Everything we needed within a couple of hundred yards. The guesthouse was spotlessly clean with a relaxed and friendly vibe. Graham and Kat were the loveliest hosts. Caring, attentive and full of great suggestions regarding parking and places to go. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The rooms were modern, comfortable and came with everything you need including USB chargers and plenty of plug sockets.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. We will definitely be back

Never stayed at a better Guest House...

I stayed here twice Friday night and Sunday night, I cannot fault anything about The Haldon Guest, Near to all the facilities but not too close to be disturbed from having a good night's Sleep, I enjoyed my stay so much that I've already booked to stay once again in December when I am next In Paignton, Hopefully the next time I can stay longer to enjoy Paignton more.

The Best Guest House I've stayed at..

I was staying at The Haldon twice, Friday night and Sunday night. The Host's where very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very nice and the bed, I didn't want to get out of it in the morning, I enjoyed a full English breakfast and other options where available, The Haldon is only around 7 minute's from the Rail Station which is ideal, All amenities where close by..

Other than that the stay was nice.

The owner had the audacity to say it’s ok to kill children in Gaza because they will grow up to be Hamas!! I’m shocked,what kind off mentality is that. So won’t be going there again,where they are ok with innocent children being killed and justifying it like this.

Brilliant and the weather was good.

The staff were very helpful with anything you need. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful for the day ahead. The place was convenient for the centre of Paignton and I would choose this B&B when I'm back in the area.

The perfect Guest House.

On arrival I received a warm and friendly greeting. The warmth and friendliness was maintained throughout my stay. I was always greeted by name. . I was in the small single which though not actually ensuite it had a private bathroom just down the hall with a shower and to my delight a bath. Lots of hot water. Immaculate bed linen and towels. Comfy bed. The whole guest house is beautifully maintained and clean. Breakfast was perfectly cooked to order. Location is a short walk to the train station and bus station and an even shorter walk to the sea. Lots of eating places nearby. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Would happily stay there again.
