absolutely incredible!!

the room was absolutely amazing the bed was super comfortable the décor was lovely the bathroom with the shower was just so incredible and i just loved every minute of being there i didn't want to leave, will definitely be returning again soon, Chaz and Kelly were just wonderful and friendly too they were very helpful too. the location of it too was just so easy to get to we were 5 minutes from the train station/town centre and 2 minutes walk from local pubs and places to eat and its a 2 minute walk the beach too its all so amazing lovely quiet area too definitely the little break I needed to get away from stresses of life I felt like I could just finally relax.

in my honest opinion nothing it was all so amazing the only thing i would change was my length of stay but as it was mine and my partners first holiday together and my first holiday in general i just wanted to see what it was like but other than that nothing needed to be changed and i will definitely sign up for the breakfast next time we stay

Kelly and Chaz are great hosts.. they put up birthday banners for my partner and had our room ready early for when we arrived! We have already booked to go back! Would highly recommend!

Super hosts who were very helpful and welcoming. I was upgraded to a room where I could access the bathroom (and showere easily) which was a very kind thought and much appreciated. Could not fault the bed comfort or the facilities.

I am not sure about soundproofing between the rooms as I could clearly hear the next door room talking on a phone. I just ignored as it did not go on too long but it is distracting.

Brilliant location, so convenient for all that we wanted to do. Lovely welcome too. The rooms were decorated out lovely, really good use of space, we had all that we needed, so clean and fresh with comfy beds.

The couple who owned the property were lovely and very helpful. I really appreciated how they organized a surprise for my wife. The room was clean, there was plenty of storage space and the shower water pressure was good.

Lovely stay in the heart of Paignton

Lovely warm welcome from our host on arrival. The room was spotless with a comfy bed and nice fluffy towels. The host recommended local places to eat, which were both great. The location is perfect too. It's a lovely place with lots of homely touches and we would definitely book here again.

A comfortable stay in a great location.

The location is excellent—just a three-minute walk to the beach, perfect for early morning sunrise walks, and about eight minutes to the train station. The route is flat, which made it easy even with a suitcase and heavy bags. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a bed slightly larger than a standard single. Facilities included a kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and a small biscuit, plus a mini fridge, fan, small table and even a bathrobe, which was a lovely touch.

Just a note for future guests: the bathroom (toilet and shower over bath) is separate from the bedroom, just a few yards away, and the same key opens this door too. This isn’t made clear in the booking description, which simply states “private bathroom.” It seems the two single rooms do have private bathrooms, but they are separate from the bedrooms. It would be helpful if this was clarified in the listing. The deluxe room is up two flights of stairs, while the standard room is up one flight. When booking through Booking.com, it mentioned breakfast was available, but there was no mention of this during my stay. It didn’t bother me, as I prefer early sunrise walks on the beach and there are plenty of cafés nearby—but if breakfast at the guesthouse is important, it’s worth checking in advance.

Warm Welcome, Homely feel, Great location, Free parking. Hosts were super accommodating of any requests. We had a lovely stay in Paignton and the location of Bella Vista is right in the middle of the action whilst still being super quiet.

Excellent! Great value for money, perfect location just 5 mins walk from the train station, bus station, pier and shops. Everything on the doorstep. Hosts Chaz and Kelly are super lovely, very friendly and welcoming. (Emmerdale fans…fyi… Chas is a man, not woman! Don’t make the same mistake that I did 😂) Nothing too much trouble, would definitely stay again and will recommend people to stay here. Rooms are quiet, no noise from other guests etc. Apparently room 3 is the best room! We were in room 7 which was cosy. It suited us and has a comfy bed, feather pillows, tea and coffee facilities, tv, wc/shower, ironing facility on each floor. You can order breakfast hampers if you wish for £9-£10 which included a bacon or sausage bap and continental. We didn’t have any during our stay.

I would only suggest having blackout blinds, as early morning sun is quite bright. But this is me being really picky! It’s not a criticism at all.

Perfect place to stay

Everything was great. Perfect location, perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Coming back in 2 months for my birthday trip. All amenities you need are only a short walk away and trains and buses are near by which are affordable and recommended to take the stress out of driving and paying for parking.

Home from home. Paignton's finest.

Everything from the gorgeous room to the friendly greeting from Chaz and Kelly. Its the third year that we have stayed at Bella Vista. When we visit Paignton I really couldn't stay anywhere else. Chaz and Kelly literally make you feel that you are home from home. Amazing accomodation.
