Torland Hotel - seafront location, guaranteed free parking

We loved everything about the place. They were so welcoming and all the staff we met were lovely everything was pristine and cosy. The rooms we had were so clean and modern and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in. My son had his own room said the same he loved it. Have to say we were sad to leave and look forward to coming back soon.

There was nothing I didn't like .

The communal areas were newly refurbished and look great, we played pool several times which was free to do. Also, there is a vending machine with reasonably priced drinks; the cheapest bottle of water in town at only £1! Breakfast was well-cooked and plentiful with cereal, fruit, yoghurt, juices and toast to help yourself too. We had a lovely stay at the Torland. It was great to have a good parking space that close to the coast too.

Our room didn't seem like it had been updated like the rest of the hotel. The ensuite was new and modern but the room needed to be redecorated. However, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was in the centre of town on the corner of a busy road, which was busier because of local road closures. So it was a bit noisy at times. Paignton itself was having some work done on the seafront, so it looked a bit like a building site.

The hotel and staff exceeded expectations if we come back to Painton I would stay there again no problem
