The location is perfect for exploring the area on foot. Beaches are easy to walk too.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our stay was amazing. We parked in the car park. Aidan met us at the door. We were shown the dining area, which was bright and spacious, and then taken to our room; we stayed in room 7. This room has a TV, tea- and coffee-making facilities, seating, and comfy twin beds; a moderate-sized bathroom with a toilet, sink, and a shower-only; towels and body wash provided. Very quaint decor, which isn't to everyone's taste, but my friend and I loved it. There is an iron and ironing board just outside in the corridor; your room has a hairdryer, and they also offer a laundry service. We stayed full board; the breakfast was cooked fresh every morning at the time we requested. We didn't need lunch, so we can't comment on this. Evening meals were lovely, made with fresh produce. Try the fish salad and jacket potato; that was our favourite dish of the stay. This doesn't consist of tuna mayo like we were expecting You have access to the hot tub; towels are provided there. We only used it once; within this area, you have access to get drinks from the honesty bar, plenty of choice. There is a patio, a seating area and a BBQ for guests to use. 10 min walk downhill into town, plenty of shops and cafes/bars. The beach is a 6 min walk again, downhill.

No fridge in the room; there was only oat milk in the sachets. We backed onto the rear car park; workmen were leaving early in the morning, and the gravel path was noisy as they left. If you are a light sleeper, this room may not be for you if workmen are staying. Location was not too bad if you don't mind walking up hills from town and the beach; these were hard going for us.
