From the minute we arrived we was a part of Sarah and Pauls family. We where part of a group that stayed and every one was over the moon with there stay. There was 4 young teenagers with us and Sarah and Paul talk and treated like young adults. The room was every thing we needed and more very clean. Breakfast was outstanding going home with fat bellies XXXXX

You won't regret it

Sarah and Paul were great hosts. Breakfast was fresh local ingrediants and very tasty. Close to a park, beach, cafés, Brewers Fayre, mini golf and only a 15 - 20 min walk to town, steam railway and Paignton Pier and fair.

No complaints, everything was exceptional and hopefully will be back some day.

Sarah and Paul couldn't be better hosts, they make you feel like you leave as their friends not just guests.This is such a guesthouse in a great location. Short walks to Paignton beach front and Goodrington beach. Breakfast was lovely, the sausages !! Soo good!! And a big ✅ from me was the fact that they had decaf tea bags in the room, not often have I found that.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. There was a large choice for breakfast, we chose the full English breakfast which was delicious and cooked perfectly, it was also gluten free which was great. The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome, thank you.

dog freindly room in basement found it to smell of damp and had to have dehumidifier running 24hrs s day - found our clothes to be smelling musty on return home

Very enjiyable shorty break, room was comfy and spacious. Great breakfast using fresh eggs from the garden.

Great location, lovely hosts and a great breakfast!

The dog friendly rooms were ideal for us and the location is excellent. The hosts made sure we were looked after and even left us an Easter egg in the room.

The room felt a little cold on your feet with the tiled floor so would advise on taking slippers if your in a dog friendly room but makes sense because your not worried about the dogs getting a carpet dirty.

The location is amazing,the room was perfect for my requirements, off road parking is a real bonus, but the best part was defo the family who run it. They were lovely,welcoming & Sarah made a fabulous breakfast. I even met a new family member!!

From start to finish Sarah and Paul made us feel comfortable and that nothing was too much trouble. Rooms great recently refurbished and breakfast brilliant, always plenty and plates warmed as they should be. Well done guys a great place to stay and right by the beach!

A must stay!

Rowcroft Lodge is situated in the ideal spot in Paignton. A quiet area, with the beach on your doorstep was just perfect! Everything was within a short walking distance. The beach, water park, a lovely restaurant - a 2 minute walk from the B&B called Cantina which serves great food and drink and live music, the pier and shops just a 10 minute walk away and plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Sarah and Paul made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We were celebrating my partner Danielle's birthday during our stay and they really did go above and beyond! They were so kind to give us a free upgrade to a sea view room, a bottle of fizz and a birthday card and a birthday banner on our breakfast table on the day of Danielle's birthday really made it special. Breakfast was lovely. We tried something different each morning and enjoyed everything! The full English, omelette and the waffles. Plenty of choice on the menu as well as cereals, fruit, juices and hot drinks. The B&B itself was exceptionally clean, modern but still held a lot of character, welcoming and homely. Our room (No.5) with a sea view was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, tea and coffee facilities, a nice shower, fantastic view overlooking the park with the sea to the left of us and very quiet. We cannot recommend this place enough and it will definitely not be the last time we stay at Rowcroft Lodge! Thank you so much again for everything. Marc and Danielle

The perfect holiday for us and our fur baby.

Sarah and Paul were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, the hotels location is so convenient and so close walking distance to everything. Free parking just outside the hotel. The room had everything we needed and was so comfortable. The best part about it was Sarah and Paul themselves!

Fantastic place to stay, location is perfect for beach and Paignton isn't too far a walk either. Room is clean and has everything needed. Breakfast was nice too where you had serval choices. Hosts were friendly and helpful and being able to park the car for free is always a bonus. We will definitely be back. Thanks.

A very enjoyable stay. We look forward to a return visit.

Sarah was very welcoming and friendly. The location was really good with the beach, park and lots of child friendly activities within walking distance. Paignton Zoo is only 3 miles away and the steam train and sea could be seen from our window. I would recommend the round Robin trip which includes a train journey, a ferry ride, a boat trip and a bus ride. The station is only about a mile away. We had our 3 yr old grandson with us and had a wonderful time. we enjoyed the free range eggs from Sarah’s own hens.

Sarah and her husband have only recently bought the property . It will be having a massive revamp over the winter. Any more jaded rooms will soon be sorted. It was in a way more relaxing with a 3 yr old not to have to worry quite so much.
