Free parking a major plus anywhere in Paignton, Excellent hosts , very comfortable bed & a bright modern room with a mini fridge supplied with fresh milk every day which is so much better than the uht cartons you usually get anywhere else.. The guest house is set in a good location with a nice shortcut into town via queen's road which is metres away. Breakfast is outstanding & well presented . This is the second time I have stayed here & looking forward to going back again..

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with everything you need for your stay. Breakfast was amazing, and nothing was too much trouble for Marc and Sarah, who made us so welcome.

I recommend the Ambassador Guest House for an enjoyable stay in Paignton.

The Ambassador Guest House is a clean modern establishment with pleasant owners. It is situated in an ideal location near to the town and its amenities and is also close to the beach. The guest house has large well furnished rooms with modern bathrooms and excellent Wi-Fi. There is onsite parking The breakfast is perfect with many choices and all diets are catered for. There is also a bar. The proprietors are resident in house and are knowledgeable about the resort. I thoroughly recommend this guest house as an ideal place to stay in Paignton.

four night bit expensive of price. But Thank you

First day we arrived to the room was very freeze cold n heating was switch off, ours feet very cold though night. The bed was comfortable. We are very happy with hotter breakfast & tea/coffee.

We was bit disappointed because very difficult step on upstairs, he got problem his knee joint painful n lost control balance. Should be give us to ground floor without upstairs. Oh never mind.

Beautiful location great value for money

Sarah and Marc were lovely and friendly from the beginning made me feel welcome. The little touch’s like fresh water in the room and milk in the little fridge was lovely. The bed felt soft at first but the past nights I’ve slept very well it was so comfortable.

Fantastic owners , fantastic stay.

Everything was excellent including breakfast , very clean room everyday , facilities , Smart TV , ensuite ,tea / coffee making , hair drier , dressing gowns , tissues , towels (daily if needed) and loads of coat hangers in wardrobe (so you needn't take any with you). Fantastic value for money.

I will be back!

My room was comfortable and very clean. Everything worked properly - the t.v., the shower. Marc and Sarah were the perfect hosts and I now look upon them as friends. The breakfast menu is quite something! I have never been afforded such a choice. It is possible to stay for a week and eat a different breakfast meal every morning! The Ambassador's location is also just about perfect; a short, flat stroll to the beach and harbour in one direction and equally short and flat to the shops and bus/railway stations in another direction.

Top Paignton newbies

Mark & Sarah are really welcoming and know lots about the local area, even though they are quite new to Paignton. The food is excellent quality and cooked exceptionally well. Now over an initial setback of a damaged roof these guys are on track to be one of Paignton's top B&Bs.

Could do with more of a dressing table/chest of drawers area to put toiletries/cosmetics etc when getting ready.

Free parking, excellent remote controlled ceiling fan, mini fridge in room,smart tv plus a well decorated room with a mirror that lights up at a touch, Marc & Sarah are a friendly easy going couple & make you feel at home. Overall a good place to stay in a decent location decent value for money & you won't be disappointed if you stay there. Plus a good choice at breakfast via a pre order system.

I had a lovely room and comfortable bed, the breakfast had an excellent choice, made from locally sourced products and was cooked to my liking. Sarah and Marc were excellent hosts who took time to converse with their guests - not many do that!

Gem of a bed and breakfast

Sarah and Marc were amazing hosts, friendly and welcoming. Offered tea/ coffee while checking in. Room was clean and comfortable with extra touches coffee machine hot chocolate and Horlick alongside tea bags breakfast and flavoured, also fresh milk in mini fridge, phone chargers and earbuds. Breakfast was fantastic, good quality ingredients especially the sausages and eggs cooked to perfection especially my poached eggs. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this property and we will definitely be booking again.

Perfect little home from home in a great location.

It was a great location, a proper 5 minute stroll to the beach and less to the main street with all the shops , restaurants, bars, amusements, etc. The facilities were fantastic and the hosts so friendly and accomodating. We arrived at the start of the heatwave with a car full of fans from home but there was the most amazing ceiling fan that let us sleep through the hottest night on record! There's also a mini, mini fridge for the supplied milk in but it also fit 3 of our very little bottles of water in so we had a good supply of chilled water too. The bed was super comfy and it was hard dragging ourselves out of it to enjoy our holiday. Outside, there is a really cute covered garden area with seating for 6 people. It was perfect for my parter who vapes, he was up at dawn vaping away happily before breakfast. We loved this place and it was a fabulous base for one of the best holidays we've ever had

Great little guest house

The location was good for everything. The breakfast was lovely and the hosts were very friendly. Good selection of tea and coffee and the tassimo was a brilliant idea!

The bed was a bit too soft and we ended up rolling into the middle. A bit dusty in places and the bathroom could have been cleaner but overall it wasn’t the worst. Also the tassimo had an old pod left in it.

We liked everything about the Ambassador, Sarah and Marc are very friendly and welcoming. Our room.was comfortable and clean, with lots of extras like a coffee pod machine and fridge, fresh milk everyday and bottles of orange juice. Breakfasts are great, lots of choice and cooked to perfection.ont
