Basic, Value for Money Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
This is a very good basic, value for money B&B yet it is not a hotel as advertised as amongst other missing hotel amenities it does not have a bar or restaurant serving anything other than breakfast.
On my stay, on a cold autumn night, the heating was not turned on until the early morning, and the bedding was damp and cold with the feeling that they had just come out of the washing machine and I could not connect the Wi-Fi.
I will not forget the truly warm welcome and the hospitality from the team.

Went to Paignton for the annual Air Show and the Great western couldn't be better situated, being at the far end of the beach with everything within a few minutes walk. The room was quite large with two windows so ventilation wasn't a problem.
Everything was spotless and the furniture was in good condition
Along with a really comfortable bed and very pleasant, helpful owner and manager my stay couldn't have been more comfortable.
