Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights, a long drive from mid wales. We cannot say anything negative about our stay.

Very clean and in a great place! Quick 2 minute walk from the beach and town centre. Not too far from the harbour to catch the boat to Torquay or Brixham. Reception is locked and can only be accessed with your key when staying, so you feel very safe.

Basic accommodation for a short stay in Paignton

Free parking space and close to the esplanade and town centre. Basic room but was fine for our short time in Paignton.

The room was a little tired. The toilet and shower room was functional but needs updating. A handle on the bedside cabinet drawer was broken and a picture fell off the wall as it was balancing on a screw in the wall.

No fridge in room, the shower curtain rail fell down as soon as I touched it and the shower was terrible.

Cosy,relaxing just what we needed.

We've stayed here last year and that's why we returned even though it has new owners it was still lovely and welcoming and so close to amenities but not so close that it's noisy. I recommend to families as close to the beach . The owners are hoping to do more to it so will probably be even better come next summer so can't wait to come back .

didnt eat in the hotel

The room was in the basement and the only way to go into the hotel was going outside. not good when the weather is bad. it was made up of three rooms. a double bedroom and a twin room. It was old looking and very basic. the shower was very poor.

Clean, comfortable and a great location

Tom was really welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to park prior to checking in. The room was a great size and very comfortable for a family of three. The room was clean and tidy. Excellent location, really close to the beach and the free parking was appreciated.

Lovely family-run guesthouse in a fab location

The owners were really friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The room was clean, homely and comfortable. Great value for money and within a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. And parking onsite was free. Will definitely stay again!

the heater beside the toilet had been damaged before we took over this made no difference as we did not need the heater in the present weather. It had been partially ripped from the wall. The soap dispenser in the bathroom did not work but we had our own soap.

We recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel for a special anniversary weekend We paid extra for a deluxe room as it was a special occasion so imagine our disappointment when we were shown to a dingy dark room in a revolting dark green. The rubbish in our room and on the landing was not emptied nor the hospitality tray restocked. All in all a total disaster.the en-suite was basically a cupboard the door had no lock on and a big gap all the way down so no privacy , shower tray still had shower gel spilt on it from previous visitors and dirty shower , carpets were filthy throughout I tripped on a rug runner by front door as it was curling up !

The owner was very welcoming and so kind to me and my girls. And was extremely helpful to me. It was our first ever visit but I will promote this b&b to everyone I know. U don’t normally find a place that ticks every bok

Wonderful property friendly host

Great location, lovely room and good space for us. Tom was lovely and welcoming and a good breakfast too. Warm weather and were pleasantly surprised with a fan in the room too.

The ensuite did smell a bit unfortunately, but couldn't smell unless in there. Was fine in the room with the door closed.

We were able to get to our room before the quoted booking in time and we were met by the owner, who was polite and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. The gentleman had a good sense of humour.

Just spent 4 lovely nights at this hotel, the room was a good size, very clean and quiet plus an extremely comfortable bed , there was ample parking, and everything within a few minutes walk. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Lovely time away.

The hotel was lovely, the rooms were a decent size earth family room. They were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was spot on a short walk to the beach, pier and town. The staff were very friendly.

Nothing, only thing I would say is the water pressure on the shower wasn’t very powerful but was enough for a shower.

1 night stay would return 5 stars

We needed to check in early as we were going to a function in a different town so I rang up and we was able too be checked in early. We was offered a breakfast for next morning which I opted for a full English for a very reasonable price and was fresh, tasted delicious which was made while I had a couple of coffees and fresh fruit. The room in itself room 11 was facing the Rd but didn't disturb our sleep bed was comfy overall the room was perfect WiFi tv even a decent fan as was a warm room. I can't fault anything about this hotel it's within walking distance to everything in paignton perfect host

It was ideal for my stopover on a tour of Devon.

It is rare to find hotels with single rooms and and at a price to match. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. There is also a range of cooked breakfasts with a side buffet all at reasonable price. It is very convenient for the town centre, beach and harbour.

Excellent Tom and Rosie could not do more for us. Attentive, friendly and efficient. Breakfast was superb and good value. Paid for separately. Excellent position a short walk from Quay, beach, pubs and restaurants.

The location is great, very friendly owner who was waiting for me when we turned up to check in & was very helpful with any information needed. great breakfast, Parking front & back.

Zoo trip

Great location. Tom was very welcoming gave great recommendations for places to eat etc, the room was great value for money, we only stayed the one night and didn't take breakfast but had a pleasant stay. He even squeezed our campervan into the car park

Location. Very clean. Very friendly and accomodating owners. Fantastic breakfast, freshly cooked with a choice of fresh juices, tea, coffee,contintel pastries, and fresh fruit to go with your chosen cooked breakfast.

Lovely hotel and lovely location

Lovely hotel. Very clean and up-together. Our Host Tom was very helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. The location was perfect as it was just a short walk to the beach and local amenities. There is also free off-street parking available. We will definitely stay there again when we are next in Paignton.
