Devon in autumn

First time iv stayed in a guest house in Devon. After good research i always came back to this one Good breakfast which is a must for me. Comfotable bed. They just let you get on with it. Will rrcommend it

The only drawback was the parking. Yes you manage to park in the street but thers just enough room for 3 cars on the forecourt. Unfortunately on my last night reversing on the car park due to a large car that had taken the middle space i reversed and caught my car down the side which i didnt notice till the morning. My fault yes. But maybe just 2 cars would be better on the forecourt not 3. Bigger cars just a bit of common sense please with your parking

The room was as described, large with all the creature comforts of home, the owners were both very friendly and nothing was too much trouble Selection of food was excellent.

Location is ideal - just a short walk from shops, promenade and harbour. There is car parking. The room had everything we could need and the owners were warm, friendly and welcoming. A lovely breakfast with a good choice.

Unfortunately I had an excellent room but the amount of stairs was a bit too much ( 4 flights) as I downsized from a two story property to a bungalow 5yrs ago

Absolutely great.

Short walk from the town, national rail, bus station and beach. Hosts are friendly and very accommodating. Cooked Breakfast was very nice, with plenty on offer as well, fresh fruit, yogurt cereal. Room was clean, comfortable with large shower. Did think the telly could have been slightly bigger but that wouldn’t stop me staying there in the future. I would recommend The Easton.

Great place to stay, great hosts, good food, comfy bed & a great location. I would most definitly stay again but in a different room. Would recommend Easton Court 100%.

The room was a single & has a slanted ceiling so I wasn't keen on that myself. The step down into the room is quite high which I forgot when entering the room once during my stay so do need to remember that.

Not a lot

Cheap and uncomfortable bed. Breakfast poor quality. The owner when questioned was rude. Aggressive with a very poor attitude. The room no 4 was like a caravan setting. Water pressure very low. The place was more like a retirement hotel for the older ones. Parking was poor. The place was situated on a very steep hill. . . I suggest a customer service coarse for the staff and learn how to deal with problems professionally. The website is misleading in all ways. Obviously would not return.

Breakfast included. Great twin room. Huge en-suite shower. Location to town walking distance.

Thin walls. Could hear the guy in the next room talking on the phone or laptop from 8am to late at night like he was living there and working from home. When he walked around his room it shook the floor and beds in ours. A bath would have been great. The bathroom is big enough to take one.

I travelled for work and needed to leave before their advertised breakfast times, no problems as I was offered breakfast at a time to suit me. A lovely stay with lovely host, would not hesitate to stay again and would highly recommend.

Warm - comfortable - welcoming

Despite being just off the busy Sands Road and facing onto St Andrews Road, there was little exterior noise (I didn't even hear the New Year fireworks). Warm welcome and Nick, who seemed to be on duty all the time, extremely helpful with regard to providing plates / cutlery / condiments for a take-away and producing excellent cooked breakfasts. Both room and en-suite warm, with adjustable CH. Ease of key access to the property good, and we were allowed an extra hour on departure as our relatives were expecting us later than 10:00 a.m.

Although shampoo and shower gel were provided, the press button use was stiff to use - the only minor gripe I can think of!

Comfortable, friendly and well equipped, prime location.

Really comfortable bed, well equipped room complete with a kettle, mini fridge topped up with water, coffee and biscuits each day, en- suite shower, hair dryer and TV, good wi-fi and prime location within walking distance of the pier. Breakfast was delicious served between 8-9am by the friendly owner Nick, lots of of choice from cereals, yogurts and fruit to a hearty fry up and tasty eggs Benedict or eggs royale and a veggie option of avocado and tomato on toast.

Shower pressure could have been a little better but honestly couldn't fault anything else.
