Very quiet and in a lovely area. Rooms were clean and well kept and warm but bright and airy.
The lounge and bar were spacious and relaxed as was the breakfast room and the gardens were lovely.
The owners were friendly and helpful and staff too.
Lots of lovely walks a stones throw from the hotel too.
Happy with my choice and would stay again

Location was good but not in walking distance of main town .
Nice garden for relaxing and having tea.
Parking limited.
No lift to upper floors so had to walk up two flights of staircases.
Room 12 was very small ,with one small restricted window that had obscuard window glass that only opened 6 inches and looked out onto a small inner roof top with no outer view.
In the rooftop area was a large industrial kitchen extractor fan and Exhaust pipe vent that was very noisy when the kitchen were in use .
The weather was a very hot 22'c and the room had no natural air flow and the bathroom was on the inner walls so had no out side window to open .
The room was stifling and hot at night .
Flooring was loose so was very noisy when walking about the room.
Room had two electric socket with an extension lead fixed to the small table top next to the kettle. Not a good idea.
No sockets next to bed .
Room would have been more suitable as a storage room .
Asked to be moved to another room but was told that it was not possible and I was given an electric fan .
Fan just blew warm air around the small very hot room .
Don't have room 12 in the summer months .
