Wonderful views.

View was amazing. Staff friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Nice loacation.

Pool area was a little dated. The £100 pre authorization still hasent come back on my card over a week later. Wasnt sure why we even had to pay it and was only advised a week before so wasnt happy about that but is what it is.

Clean and tidy fantastic customer service . We have our wedding booked here in November , Haidee is fantastic along with Steven , we ate in the crescent the food was brilliant and we are truly excited for our wedding now .

Worth Every Penny

Excellent hotel, it has so much to offer at a very good price. It is a very good location, with the Meadford Beach Cove at the bottom of the hotel's garden, and just a 3min drive to the main Torquay Beach and Harbour. Staff were very friendly and proffessional, the hotel is well kept and a good size for each room. The food is good quality, and a short waiting time. Overall, it is an amzing hotel experience and i will be booking again!

I found some surfaces weren't dusted such as lights, the TV stand, and the headboard of the beds. I also found the bathroom to be clean, but the taps and showers needed a dry cloth to buff the metal to leave the really clean and proffessional appearance. Same for the shower glass and the toilet was only wiped over on the seat, yet it was apparent that the under seat wasnt cleaned well. That is me being a bit picky though, overall the hotel cleanlieness is a solid 8/10, and communal areas are all very well kept, and main surfaces are good standard too

Beautiful hotel, with wonderful views enjoyed our short stay

location and view beautiful, would hope to come back in summer and stay again with that view - cooked breakfast nice, but for some not enough, staff very polite, friendly and helpful

the only thing for us is the bed wasn't long enough for my husband at 6 foot 2, his feet were hanging off the end of the bed, everything else was great

The room with the en suite twin room was excellent - perfect for a family. The size and facilities were really generous. The view was excellent.

The breakfast was unremarkable. Fresher, better quality ingredients would have been good. The fruit juice tasted like it was reconstituted from powder - it was all a bit 1970s

Comfortable relaxing weekend away which was made by the location and the staff

Very small claustrophobic room, thought for two people in what I miss read two large beds turned out to be two small single beds, very thin quilt and bathroom really stank, the drains from the bath plug hole, only got rid of smell after running bath water, asked , even phoned stated I needed two beds as was staying with my son, arrived one bed, very helpful night porter unzipped the bed to reveal two small singles.back room with a roof view so guess I was disappointed as we stayed near the sea, my fault I guess never read deeper.

Nothing! The breakfast was appauling burnt hard fried egg hard dry bacon nothing in the self serve area, staff were rude and served coffee without milk.

Heating was not on when we arrived and it was freezing both in and out! Balcony appeared to be under construction. TV v small for the size of room. Room was tired in decor and lacked power points. Not a good breakfast.

Excellent location.

Location spot on for meadfoot beach, stayed for the polar express experience was around 40min drive but wanted sea location. Loved the views, hotel modern interior whilst still sympathic to old building and kept original features. Price great for location and time of year. Staff super helpful and friendly. Free upgrade was a nice touch a nice suprise. Very festive looking and clean. Ample parking, good signage to rooms/suites, great personal printed instruction advising of everything from wifi to what hotel has to offer.

Everything from staff to room was lovely, but juat felt breakfast was let down by standard produced cooked breakfast, sausage was standard not local and seemed some of the breakfast was kept on a warm plate same as scrambled egg a little dry, like it had just been kept warm rather than cooked to order, understand large hotel to cater for but would had been happy to wait as already had continental too plus fresh orange juice would had been nice, just felt ths breakfast was sub standard for high end hotel. But again all staff were excellent and couldnt do enough for you.

Not the best in the bay!

The location of the hotel is lovely and close to the sea.

The room was dusty and needs to be better maintained. Cleaning was done superficially. The one bedside light was not working. Window doesn't open and did not want to force it open. Room was very stuffy. The light from the passage shines into the room through the doorway gaps. The light outside of the room in the garden also shines into the room even if the curtains are closed. The room was never in darkness when we wanted to go to sleep. The window only has a black out curtain and no other form of privacy. Hence needing to close the curtains to get dressed or undressed. People can see directly into the room from outside.

Not impressed

Beautiful building and amazing views

We couldn’t get in the pool as it was freezing. The sauna area was closed. They also run out of muffins by 9.15am so we couldn’t have the eggs Benedict we were looking forward too. We were very disappointed with our stay.

Clean & comfortable

Beautiful, clean, lovely breakfast, comfortable bed

Only negative thing was we did late check in during December & the heating was totally off in our room. No extra blanket in wardrobe & we couldn't get the room warm. Would stay again but if checking in late again we would phone & ask them to make sure heating on low in room before we arrive

It wasn' anything close what I was expecting, specially because I took my husband for his birthday.

Room was booked with a garden view, I got a concrete wall and a stained glass and no view what's so ever. Very disappointing.

Staff was quiet ignorant, didn't respect the questions we asked and delivered old dirty mayonnaise dish during breakfast.

Breakfast was very good plenty of choice

The receptionist was not as welcoming as we are used to. We have been to this hotel quite a few times in the past but not for a long time. We found the hotel to be quieter than before so there was no atmosphere in the restaurant and very few people. The bar has been moved into the restaurant and they were very loud and not dining.

Shower appalling huge shower but just a dribble of water , had to sleep with windows open as room so hot , checked out 6am night manager no clue how to process pre authorised card so now home no idea if the money has been put back into my account 🤷‍♂️

A great break at an excellent hotel.

On arrival, we discovered that we were upgraded to a Family Suite which was a very pleasent surprise - thank you Osborne Hotel for that. The accommodation overlooked the sea and was clean, tidy and quiet. The staff were most professional and extremely friendly. The meals we had in the hotel were always up to a most acceptable high class standard whilst at the same time being reasonably priced. A great relaxing break thanks to all at the Osborne Hotel.

Staff were really helpful and friendly, rooms a little tired but spotless and breakfast excellent.

Great characterful hotel

Lovely hotel full of character. Comfortable and well equipped rooms with all the usual facilities. Didn't use them, but I understand there were two pools and gym! Excellent breakfast with all the usual choices. Evening meals great too. Attentive and friendly staff. Loads of car parking.
