Excellent overall quality traditional hotel. Good service, reasonable sized rooms, free car parking available and excellent food on offer and bar/entertainment.

Very peaceful hotel. Lovely view from our room and also from the main terrace. The breakfast and lunch were really fantastic. Easy, walking access to the harbour.

Hi my name is Gary. May I please take a minute of your time to ask you to read this message to the end and look and share the hotel reviews to get them well known they probably are already but they were fantastic.The headland spa Hotel Torquay stayed here for two nights. I could not believe how friendly the staff were and how friendly the people were I couldn’t believe how posh it was and how clean it was. They had a spa which you could use the two saunas The free Jacuzzi hot tub is the lazy bath they had three of them they had a nice restaurant room which they served all types of breakfast such as cereal, fry ups, toast, fruit, croissants, biscuits, tea, coffee, orange squash and apple juice it was the pure stuff. The staff in the restaurant room was very friendly and I came here for my cousins wedding reception stayed here for the two nights the first night. It was our wedding reception party they put on a good display of Buffy food all piping hot prawn toast, crispy potato wedges sandwiches quiches they had the full bang the breakfast in the morning was brilliant. It was all well cooked not undercooked. It was cooked to a tea. The fryer was that I had it’s helped yourself like if you was going to Toby Karey breakfast mornings it was just help yourself to whatever you want. The bar was very cheap for prices and in the same room where the bar is they have seating area and an outdoor patio with sliding doors that goes onto tables and chairs with sun loungers, including the back patio looks over the front seawater of the ocean. What a view they’ve even got a dog walking path to take the dog up onto the bit of the field which looks over the cliff which is massive and it is very nice scenery to see the ocean. They had like entertainment in the daytime and live entertainment in the evenings they have singers this afternoon. They just had a singer on this evening. They had a lady singing with a man singing playing the keyboard at the same time he had to Yamaha keyboard he was playing at the same time. They have a lazy spa which has two sauna free Jacuzzi and three lazy baths the rooms that I stayed in was very big and large. It was a twin room with two single beds but you could push them together and put it as one queen or king-size bed. That’s so big it was you could starfish on it the view that I’ve got outside the window looks right over the cliff of the sea and you can see a lighthouse far from distance it is banging on the front door. They have five star rating but if I had to give them it would be 100 out of 100 because I think they deserve it because you couldn’t fault it. The whole place was a immaculate, spotless and clean even when you got in your room your room was clean. That was not a single dust On anything walls window cells even like on you curtains sideboards your bath was spotless as well. You had a bath and in built-in shower on the wall all the hallways were cleaning tidy and they had a lot of picture frames put around inside the hallways and on the ground floor even picture painting in your bedroom on the wall with a TV kettle phone biscuits on the side for you to help yourself once again I can say it’s too posh for my liking if you get my drift meaning it’s not very often that I go to posh places because I keep local to where I live. I only come up here because it was my cousin‘s wedding and I needed somewhere to stay normally I would stay in a Travelodge at Newton Road Torquay but I think that’s gonna have to stop because it’s made me think On the quality and standard of prices for a bank holiday weekend. I look at the Travelodge first and it was 180 paying for the two nights without breakfast then I rang this up and they said it was £275 for twin room then they said if I wanted a double room it would cost me £235 but both of them was like breakfast so then she said she hired back signal the reception lady so I said I will ring back, so I put the phone down and I went on the app called AGODA looked on their o

The reception was nice. I got a room which end of the room in lower floor. And I can smell the room not clean and seems long time no one sleep in. So I requested to changed another room, reception lady was nice and help to arrange another room for me which is nice room. But I saw the brushing cup was used and didn’t replace a fresh one. It can see definitely was the cleaner careless. Another reason for me was so shock about their hygiene. I saw it in the morning when I’m going to have my breakfast. I saw they put the clean bedsheets or duvet on the floor near every room door. It is the hygiene problem, I would say that it’s absolutely unacceptable. I have sensitive skin and I can’t accept any thing close to my body that is leave it on the floor. It looks like I sleep on the duty carpet or floor with dust or any insect. My personal hygiene is high standard. I will not stay this hotel again or recommend any one to stay as well. See attached pictures.
