This lovely hotel run by the sweetest couple couldn’t have been nicer. There is nothing bad to say. It was welcoming and clean. A fantastic impromptu overnight stay!

We checked in for a last minute overnight stay. The host was very welcoming and friendly, the room was very clean and well stocked with tea & coffee, the bathroom had shampoos and body cream. We were even able to have our dog stay over with us! Very comfortable mattress and lovely view over Torwood Gardens.

A lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay here! Lovely little hotel in a beautiful period building, with lots of the the original features. Our room was very spacious, a large bed, plenty of storage, a fridge, and a table and chairs. The owners also run a sushi business, and the sushi we had was absolutely delicious! Really friendly and helpful owners too. We loved the location, a lovely view of the gardens opposite, which were a great spot for a picnic. A 5min walk to the Harbour, and a another few minutes to the beach. It felt quite central to everything in Torquay, but the road itself was nice and peaceful. Next door to the museum too, which is also great to visit. Would happily recommend Tusker Lodge to others and stay again ourselves too. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great location, close to most of places. very friendly owners. Great breakfasts. Free parking in quite crowded Torquay town.

WiFi needs upgrading as for us and two kids it was already cutting off and was unusable quite few times.

The hosta went above and beyond they were really friendly and even catered for my vegetarian breakfast . Its really close to the town in a lovely area and the parking was free. I have stopped at loads of b&bus in torquay and this is the best one so far. I will 100% be staying here again.

Everything! This is the second time we have stayed here. We stayed in the triple room and it’s nicely decorated and completely spotless. Great location just a stones throw from the town centre but also nice and quiet. The owners are so lovely. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and make sure that you have everything you need. Will definitely keep coming back.

Lovely B+B, would recommend

Had an amazing stay with my dog. Perfect location, 5min walk down to the town but enough away that it wasn't noisy. Breakfast was yummy, missed it once I got home. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Hosts are so nice, will definitely return on my next visit to Torquay. Also across the road from a lovely park, nice to have a walk in the morning with my pup.

Excellent stay. Really value for money. Prime location and excellent staff behaviour.

It is situated on a prime location. Near to the town centre and on the bus route to Babbacombe and other towns. The room was well equipped with a mini fridge, TV, kettle, tea, coffee etc. Plenty of cupboard space and a comfortable bed with a small table and two chairs. There are plenty of storage places like drawers. The bathroom was clean with basic amenities provided for.

We did not get an attached patio as was described. The bed lamps were not working (although it was a non-issue.) The bathroom door was a sliding one with a small gap which reduces a bit of privacy.

Excellent, short walk to harbour, bars and restaurants

Room not as clean as expected, skirting boards had a lot of dust. Sliding door to bathroom was very stiff so had to leave it open. Also, room got a little hot so opened window however, the room was right above the smoking area so the smell wasn’t nice when people out there.
