We had a great time last week , the bed was very comfortable and was changed regularly as were the towels. The rooms were a little tired but acceptable and could do with a deep clean in places but with such a large hotel with hundreds of rooms could be difficult. The breakfasts were very good with a nice selection of food, either hot or cold. The staff were very attentive and always pleased to help and to cater for the amount of guests at breakfast time were amazing. If I could suggest any improvement it would be to run an in-house bus service into the town centre during the day for primarily older guests who struggle to walk up the hill back to the hotel.

Certainly an old lady with several facelifts but still going strong.
Easy to criticise small things but it has many good points..
Location with great views.
Indoor swimming pool.
Spacious public rooms.
Most bedrooms have a proper bath tub with shower over.
Car parking.
Excellent afternoon teas.
Really great buffet breakfast with plenty of choice and all overlooking the sea.

Hotel is amazing. Big hill going up and down. But perfect location. Indoor swimming was perfect.

This hotel would be wonderful but it is now room tired things in room not working,safe, curtains,no TV remote chair seats saying etc not good To late to expensive to bring back to life as a 4* hotel.
