Unsatisfactory.

The room was very well laid out and had plenty of space, really met our expectations.

The pool was closed for maintenance which wasn't on the website, staff were condescending and unhelpful and the view was of a car park not the sea. Breakfast was as advertised but still disappointing.

Comfy beds great location and reasonable rate if your looking for standard looking hotel and affordable accommodation

The bed was comfortable and was happy that I got moved rooms because of the traffic noise. Really happy with the night reception man but not one I was welcomed with when asked to change room. Although he had no problem with my request his whole attitude and body language said otherwise not very comfortable or approachable it’s a shame because he would be enough to put anyone off. Over all had a good stay reasonable rate and the night staff man was really helpful and even got me some plates to my take away nothing was to much trouble for him .

The only thing was the pool wasn’t open which I would have loved to swim as went to a break. Not sure why weathers it’s a summer time only but it is indoors so didn’t understand that . And again just thy staff Memeber in the morning I saw whether he was the manager or not I’m not sure but customer service skills need to be addressed.

Beautiful, comfortable, warm room with a roomy bathroom. Rod was very welcoming and went out of his way to make us comfortable.

Overall it was a great hotel and room, clean tidy and very comfortable with helpful and courteous staff.

This hotel was very clean and tidy, throughout the whole building. It was warm and welcoming, and the location was within walking distance of our destination for the evening. The room was clean and tidy, and had plenty of space. Looked forward to a relax in the bath.

Although clean and tidy, the bath did not hold the water, the plug didn’t work, so that was very disappointing

Perfect little short stay for a last minute getaway ,affordable great location but parking was an additional charge.

Very modern , spacious homely room , on the top floor . Very friendly staff on the front desk was accommodating made us feel welcome on arrival . The price for this room was amazing it was clean Met with chairs and a table and plenty of places to put luggage. The en suit room had a bath and a very powerful hot shower. Would definitely recommend staying here .

The radiator did not work or heat up the room . The television was wonky on the wall and would not stay straight due to the brackets .

When I was there the bar was not open hopefully it will be open in the future. The jacuzzi bath in my room didn't work and the jacuzzi near the pool was lukewarm.

Lovely stay

Greated at the reception by a helpful cheerful polite gentleman who was very nice. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Bar area was nice. We walked to the centre of Torquay and got the land train back which stopped right outside the hotel

We enjoyed it and will be back!

Lovely breakfast, very helpful staff, very friendly. Room was lovely and big, roomy, beds comfortable, a little softer than we were used to, but we still slept well.

We were on the street side, it did get a bit noisy for us, BUT! We live very rural so the difference is enormous then of course. I'm sure if you live in a less quiet area than we do, it wouldn't bother you.

Disappointed

Told the hotel had just been sold. It desperately needs to be cleaned and refurbished. Bar not open, breakfast very disappointing. Piles of laundry all over the place. Reception desk very strange. Felt like only hotel managers had been kept on, but they didn’t know what they were doing. Strange bathroom setup in our bedroom.
