Jan and Steve are the best hosts you could wish for! They were very welcoming and couldnt do enough for us - from breakfast taken to order, lovely clean comfortable room and very lovely chats. We were sooo very happy with out stay <3

Lovely owners and great B&B experience

We visited for two nights and had the loveliest time. Steven and his wife are beyond kind and welcoming made it feel much more personal than a big anonymous hotel chain would. Felt like a really authentic English B&B experience! House itself is newly renovated and feels fresh. Very clean and excellent breakfast served, accommodating dietary needs. Location also fab with town a five minute dander down the hills. Would definitely stay here again when in Torquay.

A real homely feel the hosts are adorable so helpful and accommodating. Room was bright and spotlessly clean. Had just what was needed in the room. Hot shower, en suite. Fan, hairdryer, tv etc. a really nice homely feel. Breakfast was excellent and delicious.

We had a wonderful time staying at Ashleigh House in Torquay. From the moment we arrived, Jan and Steve made us feel incredibly welcome. Their warmth and hospitality truly made the difference. The entire house was immaculate, full of character, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Each morning, breakfast was a delight: freshly prepared, delicious, and served with care. Jan and Steve also provided fantastic local tips that helped us discover hidden gems and enjoy the best of the area. The location is ideal; peaceful yet close to the town center and the coastline. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you, Jan and Steve, for making our visit so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Booked one night for my parents as they were attending a show. They then booked an additional night as they enjoyed it so much! My parents adored the hosts, they also complimented the breakfast and found the place extremely comfortable and tidy.

An absolute delight!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ashleigh House. Jan and Steve were welcoming hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is absolutely lovely - spotlessly clean and comfortable; our room was freshly decorated, spacious and airy, and breakfast every morning was delicious. I really can't speak highly enough of the hotel and sincerely hope we will be able to visit again soon.

Beautiful traditional home, exceptionally clean! Very comfortable for a family of three generation. Location was a short walk to the marina. The hosts were super friendly, the breakfast was gorgeous with many available options. They were so kind to my little girl and even gave her a small gift when we left! It was the perfect place to rest for two nights after a 7 day road trip around Cornwall. When we return to Torquay, we will definitely be booking here again.

It is a beautiful house, perfectly located between Meadfoot beach and Torquay town. The room was very well equipped and very comfortable. Parking available. Lovely breakfast.

Perfect.

Steve and Jan were exceptional hosts. So friendly and spent time talking with us and informed us of local interests, beaches, cafes. Their B&B was spotless and felt very welcoming.
