Lovely clean property, that allowed you to relax in the communal areas which felt comfortable and welcoming. We were given a message before we arrived with a walkthrough to our room and explanation of how we could use the facilities. The owners were quick to respond with any questions and really friendly.

Incredibly comfortable beds, high quality fixtures and fittings and the communal space was nice and welcoming too.

If I can give one piece of constructive criticism, it's that I would have expected to have had real coffee, not instant. I'm not talking a coffee machine, just a cafetière in each room - would have been more fitting with all the other nice touches you provided too, as well as satisfying those of us who hate instant!

Another excellent overnight stay in Babbacombe.

Another superb, freshly cooked breakfast from Luke.. and Becca remembered the Marmite. ;-) The complimentary Cherry Crumble cake was a welcome treat. I can highly recommend Hanbury's Fish and Chip shop. Order on line and collect in 15-20 mins, just five mins walk.

Excellent in every way!

Excellent in every way. Great value for money, good location and parking can be booked on site in advance. The property was tastefully furnished and to a high standard. We loved the sea life theme!! The room was clean and comfortable with coffee and tea making facilities, along with a mini fridge for fresh milk. Extra milk, along with water, toiletries, spare towels and throws were also available. We met Luke as we were going into the building. He was extremely helpful snd showed us to our room, making sure we had everything we needed. We will be back and will make sure we recommend Rooms at Babbacombe to all our friends!!

Superbly clean and comfortable accommodation

Absolutely everything - extremely clean and fresh! Excellent decor and feel. The owners have this nailed. This place is exceptionally good especially the location with free onsite parking and complimentary facilities.

A little cold on arrival as heating didn’t kick in until 5:30pm but soon warmed up the room.

A really enjoyable stay in Babbacombe that ticked all the boxes .. a stylish offering from hosts that ‘just get it’

I really appreciated the time, and attention to detail that Luke and Bec use to ensure that guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. Small but effective touches like fresh milk, mini-fridges and a box of toiletries you might have forgotten make all the difference. I particularly appreciated the layout and facilities provided in the dining room which actively encourages guests to enjoy the variety of excellent local food offerings in Babbacombe. The freshly cooked breakfasts are also superb. Luke was a trained chef and it shows. Bec has a ‘good eye’ and a natural flair for design. The environment, look and feel of the entire property is impressive. I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively and the team at Rooms at Babbacombe just get it. Thank you for a really enjoyable stay.

Pricey for a small room

Close to the town and there was parking available room was clean

For the price we paid for the room it was very small, to get to the other side of the bed I had to squeeze through the narrow gap at the end of the bed and the curtains came with me, there was nowhere to sit in the room apart from the bed and no dressing table, one very small mirror on the fare wall. Our room was very cold and we had to ask for heating to be put on. No soap shampoo etc in bathroom but there was a share box in the hallway but all items shared and open which I didn’t think was hygienic.There was no wardrobe only a rail with a couple of hangers, if your clothes items we to long they would cover the bedside lampshade .

Perfect overnight stay, beautiful, themed decor, helpful owners, extremely clean - highly recommended!

We loved the decor and general feel of the place. There were individual touches throughout & the owners were so helpful and friendly. The communal area especially provides the space you might need to have a few drinks or eat a takeaway. Would definitely recommend for anybody who wants something more than an ‘air b & b’ but doesn’t need an expensive hotel.

Good place to stay for a night but there is no parking (without booking)

There is no parking (without booking) and even if you book it's tiny so be prepared to leave your car during your stay. Also if you miss any of their messages they will let you know about it! So be prepared to be bossed around!. If you wish to be treated like a customer and not a school child, just get a proper hotel.

Lovely clean room, only downside was noise from other visitors but that can’t be helped. The bed was comfortable and bathroom well stocked. Would definitely consider staying again when visiting family. Communication from owner was excellent

Comfortable and clean for a night away

Spotlessly clean. The bedding actually smelt like it had just been washed. Loved the little extras, proper milk and the box in case you forgot anything, I actually forgot my toothbrush! It was comfortable, although pillows weren't to my liking.

The space at the end of the bed, hardly any room to walk around without taking the curtains with you. The bathroom was tired, although it was lovely and clean. The shower curtain didn't leave much space for showering.

Wonderful stay & wonderful weather.

Great location & facilities were excellent for price point. Great touches all around such as spare toiletries, dog supplies and chilled water & fresh milk. Area was great, less than 5mins from the seafront and cliff railway and a nice selection of bars/cafes/restaurants. Convenience of a reserved parking space was also fantastic. Communication both pre & during visit with the lovely owners was also fabulous providing great insight on places to visit / see.
