Another great weekend stay

Gary and phil were fantastic hists for our stay at their fabulous hotel. Very clean, very comfy beds and a good shower. Lots of room and facilities within the room. The breakfast was great and nothing was ever to much trouble for gary & philip. The location is good, with a short walk to the marina, although there is a slight hill to walk up if you intend to walk back to the hotel. Taxi from the marina was £6.

Nothing to dislike about this place. It would be unfair to be picky.

Going to Torquay stay here

The couple running it were lovely. They made us feel welcome and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was excellent quality food hot as it came to the table. Room was comfortable and pleasent to be in. Wholly recomend this place.

magnificent

beautifully decorated and maintained, the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in, and I really am like the princess and the pea. The breakfast was excellent and poached eggs cooked to perfection, and I was so impressed with all the effort made to minimise the use of plastic, such as fresh milk in insulated flasks to gave in room for coffee etc and breakfast items such as jams, butters being in dishes not plastic individually wrapped . a thoroughly enjoyable night in a place I will both return to and recommend 👌👍😀😍🧡💜🩵💙💛🫶👏

A relaxing December Saturday that exceeded my expectations!

Phillip and Gary were honestly the best hosts. There wasn't anything they wouldn't help you with. The compact double was really just right! Decorated beautifully as well. The breakfast was incredible. The bar area was perfect. I imagine the outside area in the summer would be amazing, hopefully will sample this at the next earliest opportunity.

The amount of time we were able to spend in this property with these two hosts.

Relaxing

The boutique hotel was lovely. The interiors felt like you were in the Mediterranean. Breakfast was incredible. Our trip was in May, it’s December now — I still think about it!! Gary and Philip, the owners were so lovely and accommodating. They gave us wonderful tips on what to do and where to go. They had two beautiful dogs too!

Simply stunning with the nicest hosts

Beautifully clean and close to the centre yet still quiet and peaceful. And the hosts nothing short of spectacular, remembering every detail about every guest to make a truly memorable stay

Only downside is the shower needs more power but it’s made up for with everything else :)

Quaint classic property with many original features. Balcony in the suite rooms is a nice adder. Breakfast was superb and service from the owners and staff was very helpful and friendly. I have never received such a warm and human welcome to a hotel. Very genuine couple who run this and they want to do it right.

Felt bathroom was very small for an otherwise spacious “suite” which really is just a generous sized fairly standard room. But the balcony and seating was very pleasant.
