A relaxed and welcoming place that made our family trip easy and enjoyable.

We had a great time staying here as a family. The hotel is really clean and modern, and just a short walk to the promenade which made it easy to head out for walks and explore the area. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, which made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. It was a relaxing and comfortable base for our trip—would definitely stay again!

Hosts were so welcoming and went out of their way to check you had all the lovely formation you needed to get the most out of your holiday.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The only thing I would say is that although it was only a five minute walk to the deafront - there was a very steep hill to climb back up to the hotel. It did not affect us but maybe could be seen as a negative for the less mobile.

Very clean throughout and good breakfast - hosts do an excellent job. Free and ample parking in site is a bonus. Good sized, heated, outdoor swimming pool which unfortunately we couldn't try as too busy travelling the area.

Away from the town centre/quay areas, Torquay is a bit hilly !! This B&B hotel is on a hill away (walkable 20mins) but could be seen as steep to some folks when coming back - including my partner. We were also on the 3rd floor of the B&B and there are no lifts so if needing easier access please ask the hosts in advance what could be done.

The Cimon Torquay

We liked where the hotel was situated the owners Julie and Jamie were excellent host they were very attentive, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They were very knowledgeable about the area. The room was amazing very clean. We were in room 11 and the views were amazing. We will certainly be going back, we would highly recommend The Cimon

A great short stay for the both of us

Good location with on site car park. All the facilities needed for our stay at this very friendly family run hotel. An excellent breakfast with times to accommodate various needs during the stay, with a variety of served hot main courses. Walking distance of the town in a quiet area. Also in case of bad weather plenty of games inside and in case of good weather a heated outdoor pool and seating area. It was spot on

Very pleasant

Location was good and not far from the sea front. Owner who had just taken over the business was very helpful in helping plan our visits and accommodating to whenever we would like breakfast due to low number of guests. Breakfast was very good.

We had the only room with a balcony and with a view of the sea in the distance but this room had a small bathroom which some might find cramped.

We had an wonderful stay at the Cimon, it wasn’t long enough! This place is exceptional! Immaculately clean and comfortable bedroom and communal areas. Delicious home cooked breakfasts and snacks available. We loved the heated pool, this really was a treat! Great touches such as towels available to use after swimming, comfortable loungers to relax on and blankets to snuggle up with. Will definitely be returning - Thankyou so much 😊

The room was spotlessly clean and we loved having a fridge. The breakfast was freshly cooked, and hot. The pool was heated and a real bonus.

I would change nothing other than maybe have some ear plugs left in the room available to use at night if needed. The road can get a little noisy.
