A fantastic place to stay 😀

A beautiful bed and breakfast with beautiful rooms and lovely gardens, everything you need has been thought of. Even home made cake left in room which was delicious. Location was great only a 10 minute walk to the seafront. Breakfast was delicious, and plentiful with plenty of choice. Lots of tea and coffee facilities in the room plus a little fridge with fresh milk. Vince and Erwan are amazing hosts, very thoughtful and helpful.

There are not too many guest rooms and the communal areas are a nice size so it is nice and friendly.

Beautiful people, beautiful food!

The hosts were amazing. So friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much effort, they were very welcoming to our little dog and left us a piece of home made cake on our arrival. They gave us the time to advise us on places to visit and eat. The room was lovely and clean, the villa was quiet and relaxed. The bed and pillows were comfy. The breakfast was amazing, the chef attentive and thoughtful to individual need. Overall, would definitely visit again. The hosts absolutely made our stay as lovely as it was. We felt welcome and part of the family!

perfect in every way

we couldn't fault a single thing the owners where the two nicest guys you could ever meet and couldn't do enough for us the room was spotless and had all the facilities we needed the breakfast was to die for and the lovely touches like home made bread and marmalade made it all the more personal we had a perfect stay and will be staying there again for sure

Very impressed by the service and geniality of our hosts.

Variety and quality of breakfast was excellent. General decor was superb. Extremely helpful towards two ageing guests. Good to hear recommendations for the local attractions including Michelin Star restaurant.

Initially thought VM was a little out of Torquay but this was compensated by the Torre station close by.

Excellent to visit Torquai

Everything was excellent, slightly lower rating due to the very small size of the room, there was not much space to open the suitcases, also toilet and bathroom were quite small. Other than that everything was perfect, comfortable bed, very clean, and breakfast was tasty and with lots of different choices. Last but not least the owners were very kind and gave good tips on what to visit! We’ll be happy to viait again, next time we’ll just book a bigger room.

Great to find such a fabulous B&B in my wonderful home town. Thanks guys for making our stay with you so lovely. Really attentive service, great attention to detail, relaxed, dog friendly, spotlessly clean and comfortable - great mattresses - and the breakfasts are fabulous. Home from home but better. Excellent location, not far from the main town and promenade. Our hosts were excellent. They made us so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Attention to detail was excellent. Spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated. Can't rate the accommodation and hosts highly enough. Would definately recommend and go back again.

Friendly and helpful

Vincent and Erwan were super friendly and helpful (we didn’t see Erwan much due to us choosing not to have breakfast) but every time we saw both, they were always pleased to see us and chat - extra bonus was Merlin (who doesn’t love doggo cuddles? 😍) we will definitely be returning next year

Villa Marina is an oasis of relax and style. Situated about 15 minute-walk from the train station (Torquay -but you can also get off at Torre), it is well situated to reach the town centre on foot. Parking is available at the property. Attention to detail is of paramount importance for Vince and Erwan who make you feel very welcome the moment you arrive: a rare warmth to find these days. We stayed in the Cary Room which was tastefully decorated and had plenty of extras like snacks, sweets, chilled soft drinks, hot drinks and an espresso machine together with essentials in the bathroom. There was also a smart TV with Netflix and Prime. The splendid food for breakfast is locally sourced when possible. Good choice also for vegan guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Marina. Simply exquisite!
