The location is very good, it’s very close to the seafront and the Harbour, close to the city centre and Paula and Jeff

The location is very good, it’s very close to the seafront and the Harbour, close to the city centre and Paula and Jeff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was very clean, I would recommend staying there and definitely will go back there next summer.

Very nice and clean, owners happy to help you with anything you needed, they do an excellent breakfast and great facilities for the dog. Family room was great loads of space, we’d looked at other cheaper hotels in the area but it was definitely worth paying that bit more.

Nothing, my only criticism was limited parking we were lucky. And I was on a different floor from the rest of the family but the place was fully booked so we were lucky to get the 2 rooms at all, otherwise it was excellent.

Very friendly!

Beautiful location, ten minutes walk from the beach and the marina! It was me and my boyfriend’s first holiday together and Jeff and Paula were so lovely and really made it feel special! We had never been to Devon before but there were lots of leaflets of things to do in the hotel. Would definitely recommend and we would love to be back!

A dream within a dream...

A dream within a dream... ...Torquay is. So it was with our 3 night stay with Paula and Jeff. We chose the smaller room with 12m2 which was completely sufficient for our short stay; a nice, quiet and bright room at the back. The whole house and the rooms make a very well-kept and very clean impression in a tidy street. The accommodation is only a few minutes walk from the coast and another short walk to the harbor with restaurants and the city center. Paula and Jeff are very welcoming hosts and respond very quickly to any queries. They gave us some wonderful exploring tips which we followed during our short stay. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. We look forward to seeing them again.

Exceptional and would 100% recommend.

The property was spotless, quaint and very accommodating. The welcoming and attention were outstanding, making sure to provide any information to us, prep the room with cold water, guide us to the parking and ensure that anything we wanted would be looked at. The room was superb and cosy, and the whole hotel was clean and pleasant.

Lovely stay at 74 Belgravia. The place is well looked after, and we were very impressed at the cleaning standard. The bathroom and bedding were pristine. The location is also great, very central. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Would 100% recommend.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were so accommodating and kind. The property was nicer than I expected since it was so cheap to stay here. We had everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean, in a great location and we even had towels and soaps/shampoos etc provided. Very large and bright room with comfortable beds.

Met Roz on arrival very nice host took us to room explained where to park directed us to harbour seafront area gave us some local knowledge as it was our first trip to Torquay couldn’t ask for more really she was only ever a doorbell ring away as they live on-site Rooms were clean tidy and well equipped

A lovely haven of tranquility, sometimes rare to find in 'young people touristy' places! The hosts were great and couldn't have done more to make our stay nice 😀 Fab location and the parking place around the back was invaluable.

My only downside was that in room 7, it would have been nice to have some kind of privacy 'screen' at the bottom window ... its overlooked and with the bed being by the window, I just felt a little exposed! Yes could have kept curtains closed, but seemed a shame to block out the sun (also as it was so warm it was nice with the cool breeze from the open window!). Other than that, nothing not to like ... Thanks 😊

The Best Guest House we have ever stayed at!

The welcome was second to none. The owners are super lovely, making sure you have all the information you need during your stay. We stayed in room 7 with our cocker spaniel. He was even made to feel welcome with a dog box with bowls, blankets, and treats as well. The cleanliness of the room was great, which expanded into the communal areas! It is one of the best guest houses we have stayed at! We had breakfast on our last morning before leaving, and you had a lovely selection of yoghurts, cereal, and toast as well as full English. My husband had the full English and loved it, and I had the vegetarian option, which was fab! Our dog even had a sausage cut up for him, which was a lovely touch! The coffee was lovely as well. We cannot fault the service, cleanliness of the room and the running of the business! Will definitely be coming back again!

We loved our stay and there was nothing we didnt like. We just wanted to mention a couple of things we think may benefit the room we stayed in (number 7). There were no coat hooks on the back of the main door. Only the bathroom door had them, which we used for our towels to dry. On the side of the bed closest to the wall would benefit from a little shelf to put a drink and your phone on.

The lady that ran it (roz). Is so friendly, nothing was too much trouble, it's a pure home from home. Can't wait to stay again, everything was clean, plenty of refreshments and the shower was amazing.
