Disappointing

Distance from Torquay Dining room and hall nice decorations,clean,

Bedroom twin beds very small room, the only twin room on premises so cant be changed ,lighting poor,only 1 (dining room) chair to sit on, Bathroom ,small but adequate,no plug in sink,plug hope corroded and bathroom light didnt work alot of wasted water as no plug also shower tepid. Dining room clean tidy very very limited menu Breakfast as long as you wanted a Full English great,no fruit available, as I am gluten free the host informed me he had been to the supermarket for a loaf of gluten free bread ,no G F ceral,even though told when booking I was G F, only jam available, Very disappointing

Good hosts, Good rooms, Good Breakfast, Buses only a few minutes away into Torquay.

Ken, Isobel, and Ashley were very welcoming and friendly, and always so very helpful. The Breakfast was excellent and one could choose whatever one wanted. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, and rate it Highly Recommended, and plan to visit there next year.

We have no criticisms, our stay there was just fine.

Good hotel and the owners were very welcoming and friendly.

The breakfast was really good and the service was with a smile every morning. Ashley welcomed you to the dining room every morning and what ever you ordered for breakfast was served with a smile. Parking was not a problem in the car park for us but if the hotel was really busy there is still plenty of street parking around the hotel and it looks safe to leave your car without worry.

The rooms could do with an upgrade and I believe this is an ongoing project for Ken. This was not a problem for us as it was only for sleeping in and getting ready in the evening. The properties at the top end of the street were quite rundown but there were no issues during our stay.
