The Owners were superb, very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We took our dog and they were definitely dog friendly rather dog tolerant like some other accommodation. The facilities were first class with lots of little touches which were extremely thoughtful. Breakfast was superb and the choice was excellent and the staff who served it were very friendly.

The whole experience of staying at kings lodge was absolutely amazing. Spotless through out. Friendly hosts. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast and a lovely selection of cold items. I can highly recommend staying here

Amanda and Brian are wonderful hosts, with a perfect Victorian seaside lodge in a quiet old neighborhood. We really enjoyed talking with them and hearing about their world travels. The other guests are regular visitors- one couple has visited twice a year for the last decade - the banter at breakfast was priceless. Food was delicious. Parking was easy, mostly on street, there were a lot of open spaces.
It was exactly what we were hoping for - don’t change a thing.
