Would absolutely stay here again, I would absolutely recommend the guest house .

The property was spotless, clean and very relaxing. The rooms were beautifully decorated and everything was there that you needed. Very well designed. Beds were comfortable. Lovely little friendly bar, lots of choice and very reasonably priced.

Such a great place.

Everything was so good at the King's Lodge. Accommodation is of a very high standard, hosts were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. Location was really good for us.

The breakfast was good quality and very tasty, the host were so lovely, they left a little doggy bag for our dog in room, with lots of goodies inside, Amanda and Bryan cater for all your needs, little bottles of milk, biscuits, mints and nice sweets on your bed when you arrived. Thank you sooo much

A Beautiful B&B with a wonderful host in a great location

Amanda is a wonderful host, the room was spotless and very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, the B&B is very well looked after with beautiful gardens to sit and relax in and also a comfortable conservatory with a small bar for relaxing in too! as a single traveler I felt very welcomed, safe and comfortable

Lovely lodge very well looked after, highly recommend

Very comfortable beds, room was nicely decorated and spacious enough for our family of 3 plus our dog, room was very clean (and I am not taking cleaning lightly!), small garden was very pretty with flowers everywhere, breakfast was delicious and really good variety (pancakes, bagels, full English breakfast), staff was so helpful and made you feel at home straight away, throughout the lodge you could feel there is a lot of work put into it to make guests feel comfortable and have a lovely stay, which we surely did. Very dog friendly as well, but with everybody in mind, so all guests will feel comfortable, whether they like dogs or not.

We loved every moment of our stay at Kings Lodge

Absolutely stunning accommodation, best we have ever stayed in. The hosts Amanda and Bryan were delightful. The choice of food was plentiful and good quality. Kings Lodge had a delightful garden and parking and in a lovely area of Torquay.

Perfect stay!

Everything! Hosts super friendly and accommodating. Lovely gestures in room on arrival. Very dog friendly - we recieved a little bag of goodies for our dogs which was lovely. Very comfortable and quiet. Great breakfast! Lovely little patio seating area outside for dogs to use also.

We were warmly greeted on arrival and offered a complimentary cup of tea and homemade biscuits by Amanda the owner, which was a very nice touch. Our room was excellent with a comfy bed. Breakfast was exceptional with a good range of optons

Made Very welcome on arrial Room was exceptionaly clean and had all needed for a great stay Had a wonderful sleep the matteras was better than mine (Ive just bought a new one because) My dog was made very welcome to Breakfast was very very nice Overall this has rated as one of my best overnight stays away from home Thank you

Fantastic in all areas - highly recommended!

Our second time staying here for an event at the Riviera International Centre, which is a short 5 min walk away, so a perfect location. Upon arriving we received a warm, friendly welcome from the owner, who remembered us from last time, and who helped us with our luggage (we had a lot!) to our room. The double room was perfect for us, tastefully decorated with a really comfy bed, and spotlessly clean. The ensuite bathroom was also spotless, with a shower with great water pressure. The breakfast was consistently excellent on both days we stayed. Would highly recommend Kings Lodge to anyone!

Lovely

A very quirky hotel with lovely, friendly owners. Very clean, beautiful decor and amazing attention to detail. We were supplied with sweet treats in our room (even a little treat bag for our dog!) Breakfast was great too!

Our only complaint is that the room was one of the smallest and left us with very little room to manoeuvre around the bed, having brought a crate for the dog, but it’s just one of those things. If we’d had a bigger room I’d have given it 10/10

Everything. But the couple than owns and runs the business are lovely. The breakfast was also superb. My partner and I were traveling with our big golden retriever, and they were just so welcoming and accommodating that we couldn't have wished for a better stay. I hope they get a chance to read this so i can say thank you once again!

Heaven is a place in Torquay called Kings Lodge.

Everything! It was the perfect place with fantastic hosts who went above and beyond. They have thought about everything and the breakfasts are amazing. All the extra little touches made this a wonderful stay.

Clean room, WiFi. Effort made in the room was very welcoming. I could not use the loo roll (photo) I felt guilty....

The host looked a bit bored and physically exhausted, repeating herself, regular lines. No smoked bacon at breakfast.

A warm welcome immediately put us at our ease. The establishment reflects the interior decorating skills of our hostess, and our quiet room was furnished and equipped at an unusually high standard with very comfortable bed.

Amanda and husband were great hoists ,very welcoming. Rooms were so clean and little extra touches made it feel like home . Breakfast was very good and gluten free option made my stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely be returning.
