Excellent property, fantastic hosts, close to seafront so all in all a great place to stay

Our stay commenced with a very warm welcome by Sade. We were shown to our ground floor room ( as requested) which was very clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was superbly cooked and presented by Jonathan. Kethla House is situated close to the seafront and my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Great B&B in an excellent location.

Location was excellent and it was an easy walk to the waterfront and into the high street. Lots of good options for meals. Sade and Jonathan were excellent hosts and very friendly. The room was a good size with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was also very good.

The shower was a little small, but it was lovely and hot.

Kethla House is truly exceptional and in a perfect location. I had some of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in a long time – the room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully kept. Jon and Sade were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel even more special. Breakfast was a real highlight, with amazing poached eggs on toast, a hearty full English, and delicious scrambled eggs with salmon. The house is also well connected, with great transport links to nearby towns like Brixham, Totnes, and Newton Abbot. I couldn’t recommend Kethla House more highly!

The Kethla B+B is in a great location a short walk from the beach and restaurants. Jonathan and Sade are incredibly welcoming. The rooms was spotlessly clean with all the comforts you require for a very pleasant and comfy stay. Breakfast was fantastic and really set us up for the day. This B+B is amazing value for money, would definitely recommend!

This is an exceptional b&b. Lovely friendly hosts who are very helpful, recommending places to visit, eat and taxis. The room was lovely, well decorated, very comfortable bed and everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, nothing is too much trouble. We have already booked to come back in August, we loved it so much we tried to book an extra night, when they told us they were full they went on to try and find us somewhere else to stay! This will definitely be somewhere we come to regularly. Thank you so much Jon and Sade

This was exceptional for a bed and breakfast. Very clean and comfortable room but breakfast was great cooked fresh every day and just what you wanted. Jonathan and sade were great hosts.

Beautiful stay, would definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay at kethla house, and we would certainly stay here again. 5 minute walk from the beach, bars, restaurants etc and then a further 5 minute walk to more restaurants, bars and shops, so we didn't need to use the car once during our 3 night stay. We got a ferry over to Brixham one day and the train to Paignton and then the steam train to Dartmouth.

Great place to stay

Amazing place to stay. Very nice rooms and clean. 5 to 10 minute walk down the hill to the restaurants and waterfront walking. Great to be able to park too. Staff friendly Continental breakfast was superb. For us it was 10/10!

We were made to feel most welcome and enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautifully decorated. Also we were in a ground floor room. The bedroom was spacious. The hosts were very friendly and attentive and the breakfasts had many choices and were nicely cooked. There was also a small fridge containing various items that you could pay for. The beds are very comfortable.

Relaxing , friendly and great hosts

This property is in an ideal location for all amenities. Jade &Jonathan are perfect hosts. They couldn’t do enough for us. With lots of extra touch like helping me bring my luggage in and out on arrival and departure. I will definitely be recommending this to all my friends

We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. The place was very clean, the owners were friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the sea. All the restaurants and attractions are within walking distance, which made everything super convenient. Highly recommend for a relaxing and easy getaway!
