A bit overpriced for what was on offer

Well I was under the impression that breakfast was included but unfortunately not.... I found that a bit poor..... Also no fresh towels everyday not so good but owner was a very nice person so I'm only saying what could have improved

Lovely room with a view over the street. The most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve had in ages. Great location - you can walk to town or the train station. Taxi office over the road. I stayed for 4 nights and had a lovely time.

Terrible trouville

That it's in Torquay

Room 2 is tiny...should be just single occupancy....it's basically a double bed shoved in a cupboard. So small..very disappointing. Decor is bad in there too. Only good thing about room is it's got a small fridge in there aswell.

Great location, close to the beach front. Clean and quiet room with plenty of facilities. Hosts were amazing and they couldn't do more to help. I drive a large pickup truck so parking is always an issue but the owners moved their own vehicle to make space for me.

Situated in a perfect location, The Trouville was beautifully clean, everything in the room worked & extra coffee, tea bags etc were on hand without having to ask the staff who were absolutely wonderful.

Very highly recommended guest house, fantastic host very accommodating and welcoming

Cleanliness of the property and the property looked inviting the room we had was a family room and it was a lovely room the beds were very comfortable and with the hot weather fans were provided without having to ask for them. The host was fantastic very very accommodating and made our stay very enjoyable.

Torquay weekend stay

I stayed here for the riviera show weekend, I had a lovely welcome ,bags taken to my room ,and every time I came and went was welcomed, very enjoyable stay I will definitely be staying here again as I visit Torquay several times a year ,thankyou very much 😁

Avoid!!!

Location

Where to start! We have had to leave the hotel. As the toilet flooded the bathroom ( Faulty system ). And the smell was horrendous. It felt like there was no urgency to fix the issue. And was left with no alternative but to leave. As we had no toilet or washing facilities. The owner was pleasant enough. But when the issue occurred. There was no urgency to sort the issue. We asked if there was an alternative room or at least an alternative toilet and was told no. We ended up going to the premier inn at extra cost. Since our visit we asked for a refund from booking.com But because the owner has refused to answer them He keeps the payment. And we cannot be refunded!!!. How this works with booking.com is bizarre. Avoid this hotel and pay a little extra to avoid this place!!!!

The location was good not a far walk to the sea front

The room was very small , so was the bathroom , the shower took ages to warm up and wasn’t great . Parking was abit of a hassle , as only one parking space behind property, and only one hour stay outside front of property , on the road side .

Great budget stay

The hotel was a nice budget stay, only 10 mins walk from the beach. They have a single room with the bathroom, which is very convenient as a solo traveller.

The rooms are small, but that's the build of the house and it's absolutely value for money regardless

Outstanding hosts

Subri and archi were amazing hosts Nothing was too much for them and they made you apart of they family From the moment we step through the door till we. Left are experience was outstanding it was that good we have booked to go back down in September The breakfast was amazing and you could tell that it was locally sourced . The beach was 10 minutes walk and the bus service was excellent The room was lovely and the bed if I could of took it home with me I would have done it was that comfortable They provided a fan in the room due to the hot weather and we had a mini fridge which had water in it . It very quiet at night so you definitely get a good night sleep
